I thought that too. I know what a .223 round to the head can do, but it looked to me like it could have been either a glancing hit, or a smaller caliber round.
I was watching a video that showed some sort of firey thing thrown in Kyle’s direction. Don’t know what to call it. Also, IIRC, more than one thing was thrown.
And there were other guns being fired, but due to the darkness and blurring of the Video it was hard to tell where those were other than around the parking lot somewhere.
