Better late than never. Trump should be the beginning of a reshaping of the GOP. They are not aligned with the people who vote for them. The President is.
I expect Trump to win.
And I hope swamp draining accelerates.
But the GOP may not be salvageable. Still a lot of Never Trumpers are holding on despite his great success and despite the despicable, illegal coup that was launched against him. Those Republicans do not want what is best for the country. So the GOP is poisoned as long as they remain.
Yeah, well, you can't win 'em all.
In fact, he replaced it.
That American pageant you saw last night was not Republicans. No Bushes, no Romneys, not one person who has ever run for president before.
What you saw was the birth of The MAGA Party.
Not to worry. There are more than enough anti-Trump ‘republicans’ to make up for that. Lot’s of back stabbing POS assclowns. In the words of Thumper’s mom. “If you can’t say something nice, say nothing at all.” Nope. Undercut and put out “best selling” tell all exposes as soon as you can. If this country was as bad as “they” claim and Trump was as bad as “they” claim, “they” wouldn’t see the light of day.

And former RNC party chairman Michael Steele has scurried over to the Lincoln Project, to actively work against Trump, like the rat he always was. He was one of the worst chairs of the RNC ever seen, and he is finally showing why. His heart belonged to the scum dummocraps all along. They must have paid him off well, having found a man with no scruples, just their type.

The GOP is doomed. The GOP had the chance to create new countries free of income, wealth and property taxation less than two years ago. The GOP could try to place tax caps in our federal Constitution to protect the middle class even now, but is too stupid to even try.
The US will effectively be a one-party country by February 2025.
I will vote for the least obnoxious Democrats in the primaries.

As I keep telling my NeverTrumper relatives, there just aren’t enough of you Chicago School Think-Tank Republicans left to actually win elections.
I think the Democrats face a similar fate. The hard-core Communists are clearly in the process of seizing control. The old school Clinton corporate grifter types are going to face a decision on whether to take their ball and go home.
Election night is going to be sooo sweet.
None of this is to say that Trump is a shoe-in come November.
