The Real Problem with Saying 'All Lives Matter'
American Thinker.com ^ | August 1, 2020 | Warren Beatty

Back in 2015, several dozen demonstrators interrupted Democrat presidential candidate Martin O'Malley (D-Md.) while he spoke at the Netroots Nation conference in Phoenix. They shouted, "Black lives matter!" The former Maryland governor responded, "Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter." The demonstrators, who were mostly black, responded by booing him and shouting him down.

In a New York Times article written at the time, Judith Butler tried to explain away the demonstration by saying, "When some people rejoin with 'All Lives Matter' they misunderstand the problem, but not because their message is untrue. It is true that all lives matter, but it is equally true that not all lives are understood to matter, which is precisely why it is most important to name the lives that have not mattered, and are struggling to matter in the way they deserve. If we jump too quickly to the universal formulation, 'all lives matter,' then we miss the fact that black people have not yet been included in the idea of 'all lives.'"

In a July 11, 2016 article entitled "Why you should stop saying 'all lives matter,' explained in 9 different ways," German Lopez says, "But the point of Black Lives Matter isn't to suggest that black lives should be or are more important than all other lives. Instead, it's simply pointing out that black people's lives are relatively undervalued in the US — and more likely to be ended by police [emphasis his] — and the country needs to recognize that inequity to bring an end to it." Vox offered no explanation for Lopez's use of "undervalued," assuming, perhaps, that there could be no misunderstanding.

The question has risen........ do black lives really matter?

Are a handful of black lives worth the rioting pillaging and burning of cities that has supposedly resulted from the protests.

Do the lives and careers of many law enforcement officers destroyed in the process not matter as much or more than than the lives of 3 or 4 black career criminals acting on a drunken rampage?

No, BLM is a political subterfuge, a lie, used to achieve political agendas not possible at the ballot box. The BLM lie taints all black people with the political stench of the Ameritrash destroying the cities.

Political Analysis

When the “woke” actually wake up, they will realize that to the overlords, no lives matter.

Saying BLM does not make it so.

I say, “Prove it. Prove to me that you do matter. Get a job, keep a job, get married, take care of your family, teach your kids right from wrong, better your community, seek God, be an example of virtue to all races. If you feel you need revenge against “whitey”, your best revenge is success. But then I guess that just makes you an Uncle Tom. So where do you go from there, the streets? Right back where you started.”

Bullshit.

If that’s how they felt they would said “black lives matter _too_” but they didnt and they don’t. Hence I assert this is false and BLM does believe that only black lives matter... and why they are triggered when someone says all lives matter. They don’t believe all lives matter.

They don’t respect our nation or our flag either and that’s why they kneel during the time reserved to respect our nation and flag.

A good review of BLM from a Black pastor: “Should Christians Support BLACK LIVES MATTER?”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5U1li4QuIs

Of course Christians should be sympathetic to blacks, but we should not support the organization named BLM, which is a marxist, anti-family, pro-LBGTQ organization.

The Real Problem with Saying 'All Lives Matter'

The "real problem" is; there is no problem with saying it.

And the black fascists that want to control our right to free speech can go pound sand.

A Message to BLM:

If institutional racism is the playing field that you believe you are on, then play on that field. Don’t whine about it.

We can all conjure up something to be angry about. But it seems to me, that blacks are mad that their culture and traditions cannot compete economically within the United States. Welfare did not help. Affirmative action did not help. Children out of wedlock did not help. Murder in inner cities did not help. Rap culture did not help. Black Liberation Theology did not help. Obama did not help.

The only thing that will help is turn to God for guidance, work hard at whatever job you are capable of, get married, stay married, raise your kids to be good citizens with a work ethic reflected by your own actions, value education, be content with what you have and hope for a better future for your kids.

On White Privilege:

The best revenge for minorities against White Privilege is to compete and succeed. If you believe that the “playing field” is not level then you have two choices, compete anyway and work even harder to succeed, or go find another playing field.

The other playing field would be to succeed within your own minority community. Black owned businesses in Black neighborhoods, buying from Black distributors and producers.

Minorities will never find a solution in expecting Whites to tip the playing field in their direction. The two groups have a completely different view of the field of competition. I think that Whites go about their lives competing on the field of life and don’t even see the Blacks on the sidelines. Blacks stand on the sidelines and have no idea how to get on the field. For some reason they think they need to ask permission of the Whites to play?

Just step on the field and compete! Or don’t. It’s up to you. But don’t blame it on me if you can’t.

Booker T Washington:

Booker T. Washington (1865–1915) warned of such people within the black community in his 1911 book My Larger Education. He described them as “problem profiteers”:

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs – partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.” (p. 118)

Instead say All Black Lives Matter. Then launch into the greatest killing machine of Blacks....abortion. Around 1000 a day in the US. Tell them indeed planned parenthood is the very epitome of systemic racism. Until they protest that they are barking up the wrong tree.

" It is true that all lives matter, but it is equally true that not all lives are understood to matter"

All the more reason to insist that all lives matter--in order to inform those who have not understood.

To deny that all lives matter while insisting that black lives matter suggests that some lives matter more than others, leading to further misunderstanding--especially among those who misunderstand more readily than most.

“That statement has been proven untrue, time and again.”

Yes, it has. These racist blacks just want black lives to matter “more”, for example to the tune of “reparations”.

I’ve made the public statement that “I support reparations 100% to all living survivors of slavery in the U.S.”

Works, right?

For me, the issue with hearing people say “Black Lives Matter” and seeing signs saying it is that it indicates they have signed on and support an openly Marxist political organization.

Whether they do it knowingly as Marxists or unknowingly as Useful Idiots, the result is the same.

Black Lives Matter is not a civil rights organization. It is not a human rights organization.

It is a racist, marxist, political organization.

The fact that it is utterly based on a lie should be enough for anyone who appreciates the rights and other beneficial things that America with our Constitution provides to reject it with prejudice.

But they don’t.

In my part of the country which is sadly lost to me in this respect, they buy into it in disgustingly large numbers.

And by by trying to mandate that people say the phrase, mean it, put signs on their lawns displaying it, and otherwise paying obeisance to it is corrosive and destructive beyond the obnoxious, racist, phrase that is refutable at its core.

And one of its most corrosive and destructive aspects is its inherent fundamental assault on Freedom of Speech. Try going anywhere and refuting the phrase “Black Lives Matter”. You will be branded a racist at best, and physically assaulted or murdered at worst.

My employer has included paeans to Black Lives Matter and George Floyd in their company-wide communications. Does anyone think I could take public exception to that without ramifications? Of course I couldn’t. I am free to decide if I want to make an issue about it, but it wouldn’t be freedom of speech. It would be me deciding what price to pay to keep my integrity, and all choices would be at my cost with the exception of maintaining my integrity.

So, for me, the issue is not a fundamental one of a disagreement over whether the melanin content of skin imparts a value on life that is more or less for one skin color or another (which by definition is racist at its very core) it is an issue of whether America as currently defined by OUR founders Constitution is an America to keep or strive for, or whether the America as defined by Black Lives Matter and their founders is more just and in line with the inalienable rights of humans.

The America envisioned by Black Lives Matter and THEIR founders is antithetical to the vision of the American founders. Those two visions have no commonality at all.

None.

The America envisioned by the founders of Black Lives Matter forsakes God, advocates abolition of the traditional family, advocates racism, and is committed to the destruction of economic freedom.

And to me, the abolition and destruction of economic freedom (a core tenet of Marxism) is just as important and fundamental a human right as Freedom of Speech.

F.A. Hayek makes this key point in “The Road to Serfdom”: you cannot have Political Freedom without Economic Freedom, and you cannot have Economic Freedom without Political Freedom. Political and Economic Freedom are inextricably intertwined, and the destruction of one destroys the other.

And Black Lives Matter, founded and run by “trained Marxists” (their words not mine) advocates the destruction of economic freedom because they think that Politic Freedom is possible without it. What they don’t know is even their childish perception of what Political Freedom is won’t be possible under their vision.

That is my main issue with Black Lives Matter-their open embrace of racist Marxism which is incompatible with America as our founders laid out for us in our Constitution.

And the problem is, 95% of the people who advocate, support, have signs on their lawns supporting Black Lives Matter are Useful Idiots who have absolutely no idea of this fundamental incompatibility.

It should actually say ‘OBLM’...ONLY Black Lives Matter.
And, according to them, ‘NWLM’...NO White Lives Matter.
