Google is now making it easier to find Black-owned businesses

Google is launching a new tool that allows businesses to identify themselves as Black-owned through the company’s Maps and Search listings. The new feature is part of the company’s pledge announced last month to support the Black community with “initiatives and product ideas that support long-term solutions.”

When searching for a business through Google.com or Google Maps, you’ll now be able to see a new badge to represent Black-owned businesses — it’s a black heart over an orange three-striped background, like the one you can see in these images. They need to claim their business on Google and verify they own it by mail, phone or email before they can apply for the badge; it’s not clear how or whether Google can actually tell if they’re Black-owned. In 2018, Google introduced similar badges for businesses to display if they were either “Women-Led” and/or friendly to members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Why is the black woman on the left styling her hair to look like the white man Albert Einstein?

They need a symbol for Jewish-owned businesses too. I seem to recall some of their ideological brethren did it a few decades ago.

They need a special icon to indicate which black-owned businesses have been demolished by BLM and Antifa.

Great idea if your purpose is to limit customers to 13% of the population.

What’s next, yellow six-pointed stars for Jewish-owned businesses?

Considering Google”s history of virtue signaling and shutting down conservative speech, there is probably more involved in this that identifying black owned businesses for commerce. There is probably as much to do with riots — i.e., identify which businesses are black owned so the anarchists and rioters don’t burn then down. Knowing which are black, which are White or Asian lets the anarchists burn only White and Asian and not black businesses. (and yes I intentionally capitalized White and Asian and not black)

While this racist effort will help those who want to support black owned businesses it will also help those who wish to avoid them.

Disgusting.

Will we mark the Jew owned businesses next? Perhaps a yellow star.

Also makes it easier to avoid black owned businesses, but I bet the big brains over by Google didn’t think of that. Soon this feature will come to bite them.

I remember in the 80’s. The Government was mandated to offer preference to black owned business for federal contracts. After a year or three, they found that these business owners had been put in that position JUST to get the contract. Once the contract was signed, they went back to sweeping floors and taking out the trash.
