That might be a possible explanation why native Texans voted in a majority for Beto over Cruz in 2018 (51%-48%).

I kinda hope most of them will write in Bernie Sanders this November.

...and I, like many others here, plan to help Joe win by ‘teaching the Republican Party a lesson, and voting Third Party, because I don’t like some of the rulings by Justice Roberts.

You don’t get it, do you? The public schools were ‘FREE’ and by sending my kids there, that enabled me to keep up with the Jones’s and buy that boat (or maybe that truck that I never needed, but makes me look manly).

How could anything be more important than that?

Not everyone raising kids makes a 6 figure
salary. My kids went to public schools
simply for the economics of everyday
living. Groceries, medical, utilities,
etc.
I never owned a new vehicle until the
kids were grown and flew the coup. Life
was a struggle. But my kids never went
without for the basics we provided.
Luckily, they both graduated highschool
and had not been indoctrinated with
the kids’ of todays’ ideologies.

Most people that I know who send their kids to public schools could EASILY step-down a bit in lifestyle for their kids...but choose not to, since they have ‘higher priorities’

But note that I say ‘most’.

Most are Bernie bros who have been taken to the barn by Bernie twice and they direct thier anger not at the old socialist who robbed them of thier dream but daddy and mommy’s allowance that was given them for drugs and video games
