You are correct. A few years ago, I read an article about one of the top players on the WNBA team in Minneapolis. She was a devout Christian and said that the vast majority of the WNBA players are lesbians and they regularly harrassed her because of her faith.
Without the nba there’s no wnba. People don’t want to watch the wnba. Real world economics.

Askin’ for a friend who is no longer a fan or any professional sports team, though still holding out with hope for athletic competition at the high school and collegiate levels.

Sports are destroying their brand and going to experience serious loss of revenue. WNBA is already virtually insolvent. I don’t understand why athletes, celebrities, musicians, etc want to tick off and lose at least 50% of your audience or potential customers... we just saw from WSJ that A&E lost 49% of their audience after cancelling the number one show on cable, LivePD.
