The videos showed LOTS of green laser beams all over the place. More than one of the scum was armed with a laser.

Laser pointing should be answered with paint marker rounds and criminal prosecution

" That would buy a lot of live ammunition per officer."

Not any more. Have you looked at prices, lately?

Have you ever heard of Google ? You can research those brands easily and see they sell laser safe eyeware.

Wiley X and ESS are just a few companies that have huge contracts for military grade eye protection

The Army even has a site that specifies what eyeware meets the standard set my the military. If they don’t meet the standard, you can’t wear them on duty.

I should know, I’m the guy who has to enforce those rules.

A phase conjugate laser (PCL) can emit a high energy pulse based upon a target’s reflection of an illumination pulse. The reflection from the target enters the PCL laser optics and is considerably amplified. That amplified energy is emitted essentially pre-focused on the target’s position at the time of the reflection of the original illumination pulse. Advanced deformable mirrors and predictive algorithms can slew the shot somewhat to compensate for rapid traverse movement combined with extended delivery time of flight.

A laser of a sufficiently close match to the PCL frequency of operation could enter the PCL optics, become amplified, and prompt a return at high power. Would likely be tricky to attain such a match.

I said that. I didn’t need that. I spent my career in lasers and electro optics. The mfg came to us

1) Put a device into the air that wipes out all electronics, from GoPro to City surveillance. Shut down all power via an EMP type of attack.

2)Surround the protesters, order them to surrender or you are opening fire.

3) Carry through with the threat.

4) Relent when they begin surrendering.

5) Those arrested will be held in a third party nation....Siberia sounds perfect. Someplace with no extradition, maybe on the border of China in Tibet.

This is a revolt against the United States. They must be put down like the dogs they are.
