Since the death of George Floyd, Democrats have pushed this notion of "defunding the police." They have worked overtime to make sure Americans know "defunding" doesn't mean abolishing law enforcement agencies in their entirety. In their eyes, it's about shifting funds from police departments to other necessary services, like education and social workers.
For whatever reason, the mainstream media is making the argument that Biden is not in favor of defunding the police. By Democrats' own standards and definitions, he is in favor of defunding the police and reallocating funds that would otherwise go towards police departments to other services.

I’ll defund Biden on this one. I don’t think he actually wants to Defund the police but he will say whatever his masters tell him. Hopefully Joe comes out and supports the cops though.
Defunding the police is not playing well with middle America. Play to the your base to win the nomination and run to the middle.
And should Democrats repeal all their laws and regulation if law enforcement was so not necessary. Instead, Democrats are the ones who insist on more.
Don’t you think that all of this is to keep the Rat black voting base solid. The stories of of Trump getting as much as 30% black vote is terrifying to Rats. It certainly means loss of the House if true. I think they’ve given up on the Presidency. They’re trying to protect their power in the House.
