Conservatives have spent enough time defending the Founding Fathers. It is time to stop being on the defensive and attack the leftist proponents of modern slavery who propose to tear down their statues.

AMEN!

As usual, over 2,000 words to say what Prager or Sowell could say in 500...

Communism is slavery. The only difference is that instead of being owned by an individual, you are owned by the state.

Stalin sent both of my grand-aunts to a Siberian Gulag.
Miraculously both survived. I even met one of them.

Stalin’s regime had my great-grand father killed by firing squad. (Latvia’s entire population decreased by 1/3, one third!!! during the war)

Socialism (Nazi’s) and Communism (Stalin) were genocidal regimes, millions killed by socialism, some in gas chambers, over 20 million died in Russia, a large portion by famine and purges.

And what about Asia? how many millions killed? how many millions starved? My wife from China was shunned by her parents because they could not feed her, her grandmother took her in.

And they want to bring socialism (liberal left) and communism (BLM) here?

Are we nuts?? How can we possibly support this?

Southern slave owners justified the subjugation of human beings by asserting that forced labor gave meaning to inferior people, uplifting them from a degraded condition, and taking care of them.

This is basically what Aristotle argued in The Politics.

Communism and Socialism couldn’t survive one day without Capitalism, but Capitalism would absolutely thrive without either Communism or Socialism.

Marxist analysis assumes that economic activity/wealth creation would be the same under a capitalist or socialist system. The only difference, they claim, is how it is distributed.

In my opinion, the system itself MATTERS. Wealth creation and productivity is highly dependent on the incentives inherent to each system.

Communism is the slavery you sell yourself into.

The moral turpitude of leftist politics is its clarion call. Hatred and violence are its essential tools. Meanness of spirit poison every leftist heart. The terror of living in conflict with God can not be allowed to define us. We are a free people. We will not bend our knee or allow our spirit to be broken by evil men who seek to dominate, to destroy, and to kill all that is good.
End the tyranny of leftist destruction.

Excellent piece. DG ping.

At its peak, as many as 1 in 5 Soviet construction workers were convict laborers and massive slave labor projects like the White Sea-Baltic Canal, hailed as triumphs of socialism, killed tens of thousands.

So many workers died on projects like the White Sea/Baltic
canal that for many years afterwards their bones would be
eroded and exposed on the banks.

That Lenin’s statue still stands in Seattle is a blot
on the record of any American that thinks himself a patriot.

" It is time to stop being on the defensive and attack"

Would you happen to have any implementation ideas for this?

When another person has a right to the fruit of your labors by means of free education, free housing, free food, free medical care, etc, then you are a slave to that person. That is the very definition of slavery.
