President Trump trails likely Democratic nominee Joe Biden by ten points in Rasmussen Reports’ first weekly White House Watch survey for 2020.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds Biden earning 50% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Trump’s 40%. Six percent (6%) remain undecided.
The new survey finds Trump with 74% of the Republican vote. Biden has the support of 79% of Democrats. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, it’s Biden 48%, Trump 36%
So what about all the hangups that likely substantially favor Trump?
Shouldnt any poll at least give the number of responses including hangups

Not buying this poll .. Antifa and BLM have given free advertisement to Trump by driving their agenda and demands into the ground..CHAZ/CHOP helped too. The disgust from most folks I talk over these groups will get Trump the win. The silent majority does exist.
Correct. No sense trying to gloss over this one. This is legitimately bad news. Trump is running out of time to turn this around.

That will be the status quo until the dim election platform emerges from their virtual convention. Anti-police, anti-white, anti-everything the American way but fully endorsed by sleepy joe.
It is tough to run against three opponents in an election, sleepy joe, the media and the RINOs.

........... I remember when Obama ran ... Many voted for him believing that it would be the end of Black Strife in America and to not vote for him meant you were Racist. There may be a chunk of people that will vote to end all of this racial unrest caused by Trump and to protect them from COVID-19. They know that this is All Trumps fault, because the media is telling them just that.
....... The majority of people are not very politically savvy and don't really research issues ... They just vote the way their friends and family do or the way the media tells them to vote. However, Trumps base is still pretty solid ..... The deciding factor will be who the Undecideds vote for.

If somebody calls you up, they have your name and number, how many will admit they’ll vote for Trump? How many will lie, fearing they could be targeted?
Polls assume honest answers, even if the questions aren’t. Bad questions with dishonest answers will give a really skewed result.
Somehow suburban women are not recognizing what life would be like with the AOC crowd in charge. They want peace at all costs, just like Neville Chamberlain. They were never properly educated that preservation of democracy is a daily fight, particularly on the home front. They are exhausted from the fight already. And sadly, most of have not taken economics, a tax- or estate-planning course, and they don't prep their own taxes. They think that giving it all away is what a "good" person does.
Active understanding of and participation in politics is not socially appropriate, unless it is to agree with the loudest liberal person in the room, usually a know-it-all union teacher. They went along with what was happening in their kids' schools because education is the path to better socio-economic status. They are pro-choice and think that church is repressive.
Unless God intervenes and we have "angels in the whirlwind", I am fearful of what this country will look like in four years. Seriously...

Trump’s support by Republicans is through the roof. BIG problem for the credibility of this poll.

This is not the old Rasmussen poll. He sold it, along with his name. So now someone other than Rasmussen is doing a poll with his name on it. I don’t trust these polls for a second.
There was a lot of movement in July 2016 because of the conventions. But still, the average for July 2016 was Clinton up by about 3%.
You can’t tell me that Trump whose last 3 events (Tulsa, Mt Rushmore, and 4th of July) each had MILLIONS of views on youtube, is losing to Biden in the polls. Each one of Trump’s events dwarfs the number of views that all of Biden’s events over the last year have combined, Biden’s biggest event, the virtual fundraiser with 0bama had only 72,000 views.
The generic Congressional poll has been steady at a 10 point lead for the Dems for weeks now.
Trump and the GOP are on track for a historic obliteration in November.

That may be true, but the electoral vote can only reverse up to a 3-4 point popular vote deficit. If Biden wins by 10 points in the popular vote, no way is Trump going be anywhere close to 270. It will be a rout. Guaranteed.
