I see a whole lot of virtue signaling by companies which built their gyms using that affiliation saying they'll no longer be affiliated (probably saving tens of thousands and thinking they'll be able to continue on exactly the same...) I'd imagine that Crossfit's lawyers might have something to say about that.
Kinda interesting though that George Floyd was positive for COVID-19, adds an interesting undercurrent to the whole back and forth here. Had he maintained quarantine like all who test positive are supposed to do...
Obviously, YES.
If George Floyd would have been following the laws established by his community and proper quarantining/ social distancing rules he would be alive today and no one would know his name.
I think it is pretty funny
You guys are going to see one heck of a mess with this family coming up
Brother Floyd tried to set up a slush fund for his family with the gofundme
The problem is that his Estate will be run by an executor and a Court. Brother doesn’t get to use it as a slush fund
Floyd has three known children - two of which we havent heard from for some weird reason? Are they in prison??? Who knows
BUt the Baby Mommas should be intervening on this before that money is released
If he has no will his kids get it all
The dead man was African and not required to conform to white law.
Oh that’s funny.
“Your words and actions represent 15,000 business owners globally who’ve made you rich, grown the brand, & asked nothing of you.”
Seems the CrossFit CEO has enough money from his enterprise to not have to worry about it.
It’s good to be able to tell the Left to GTFO.
“Had he maintained quarantine like all who test positive are supposed to do... “
Don’t forget...
Had he not passed a bogus $20 bill (broke the law)...he would still be alive.
I suspect that if he had not been high on Fentanyl he would still be alive. That is a much more serious crime than passing a bogus $20.
I think you’ve got it.
High on a combination of fentanyl and meth, speedballing. But in the eyes of the law, one's a misdemeanor intoxication (and probable simple possession) vs felony attempting to use counterfeit currency (up to 20 years...)
CrossFit [location deleted] condemns the comments made by Greg Glassman, the CEO of CrossFit. His disregard for George Floyds life and tone towards racial justice and change are appalling. He does not speak for us. We do not stand by him. We stand for justice, inclusivity, and our community! This was followed by an announcement that the gym was ending its relationship with CrossFit - Black Lives Matter!
I’m paraphrasing Voltaire
still no probate open as per Cts website
