I’m talking to a longtime friend, a disabled NYPD cop of 25 years experience. We worked together on internal security issues and terrorism matter including a stink bomb attack on the USS Intrepid in New York harbor. Even back in those days, the early 80’s, police leadership was slow to accept the intelligence information we were gathering independently, he as a policeman and me as an investigative journalist.
They police in major Democrat controlled and ruined cities are still, in their leadership, largely incompetent, cowards, and planning-deficit. Even if their leadership wants to do something proactive, they are not allowed to do so, which is why St. John’s Church parish house (historic place on Lafayette Square directly across from the White House), is on fire and will probably be burnt to the ground because the fire department is not allowed to get into the area.
The excuse is that there are too many rioters blocking the streets so they can’t send the fire trucks in. Meanwhile it has been reported that between 50-60 or 80 Secret Service agents/police have been injured guarding the White House. That is not leadership. It is sacrificing good officers as targets for the rioters and terrorists.
The policy should have been immediately, re putting out the St. John’s fire, to send several large Hook and Ladder Trucks down 16th Street and parallel 15th Street at full speed, with sirens blasting and lights flashing, with a loudspeaker stating that “Clear the streets, we are coming through. If you get in our way, we will run you over”.
Also, armed police with M-4’s, not the shitty M-16’s, should also be shooting the arsonists and anyone carrying any kind of weapon.
I learned this lesson in Cambodia during the war when I had lunch with the Governor/Col or Gen. In Tam, in Champong Cham city who had to face a deadly riot right after Prince Sihanouks was ousted in a parliamentary/military coup in March, 1970.
Two Parliament deputies were sent to his city to explain to the people what had happened and they were beaten to death by a pro-Sihanouk mob. I asked In Tam what did he do to stop the riots and killing. He said, “I ordered my troops to open fire and they did, killing about 12 and wounding others. After that, we had not problems”.
If it was good enough for a Cambodian governor with the balls to fight violence with decisive/message-bearing counter-violence, then it is good enough for our Cowardly Lion police departments and ball-less mayors to do the same.
If you let a little fire fester by inaction, it will grow into a raging inferno. Look out your city windows and see what’s going on and NOT going on. Baltimore, Philly, NYC, Atlanta, Detroit, Cleveland, Oakland, SF, LA, Chicago, etc. All Democrat controlled and ruined major cities under siege by a small bunch of communists, black extremists, psychopathic Antifa-type anarcho-marxists, and assorted psychopaths on the loose.
The tragedy killings of George Lloyd and Briana Thompson (?) were all the Left/Anarchists needed to put into effect their plans to burn down America and the Democrats not only fell for it, they allowed it to happen.
One sure result after the last fire is put out and more people, esp. minority members, are put out of work right in the middle of the coronavirus epidemic, is that Donald Trump will win his second term as president and will be proposed for a third one (constitutionally can’t happen but the rationale will be, look at what Obama, the Democrat Party and his leftist/Marxist hordes have done to our cities, our rights, our President, the Constitution and America. Can we afford to ever let that happen again? Come November, the people will remember.
As for me, I’m tired for warning people, including the police (in one of my Police Science classes, for instance), that no major riot is “spontaneous”, that they have been financed and planned for months or years, we know who is largely responsible for all of it yet have done nothing to stop/destroy them, and will allow the Democrat Left to blame Trump for the riots (Kids Just Wanna Have Fun), burning (It’s cold outside because Global Warming has stopped), looting (minorities need “stuff”), killings (they are just cops), and general lawlessness (aka Saul Alinsky, Carlos Marighella’s Urban Guerrila Warfare Manual, the Waskow/Rennie Davis “Mayday Manual” of 1971 (I was caught in some of that violence), “The Anarchist’s Cookbook” (on explosives), etc.
I could say more but I’ve got to finish up a chapter for a book on communist terrorism and genocide in So. Vietnam (Cambodia and Laos). We could have stopped communist aggression there, just as we could stop communist/racial extremists, and psychopathic anarchists violence here BUT WE NEVER LEARN FROM THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE.
It takes guts to fight and win and we have been mentally emasculated, neutered, and lobotomized by our Democrats/Left/Marxists for so long, esp. in politics, the media and academia, that most young Americans are totally F**ked up mentally and ideologically to the point that they believe their own country is the enemy, not the anarchist fascists, Communists or assorted imperialists (Erdogan in Turkey for example).
This it the shame and pity of present day America. When the first policeman or soldier shoots and kills a rioter/arsonist, that will be the day when America starts to fight back in Ernst against out enemies, domestic and foreign.
We have our own Fidelistas, Sandinistas, anarchists, Maoists, Soviet communists, Trotskyite Communists, Red-Green environmental terrorists as well as R-G anarchist/Marxist terrorists.
If you don’t believe me, look out your window and smell the cities burning. And this time, there are no marshmellows for the good guys, only terrorism, destruction and death.
