Vikings are “deeply saddened” by the murder of George Floyd

On Monday night, Minneapolis police officers murdered a man named George Floyd.

And, yes, they murdered him. Some may object to the characterization given the blunt, hard candor of the term, but there’s no other way that any fair-minded person can view the video of a police officer consistently and persistently burying his knee into the neck of a man who eventually died due to the restriction of oxygen resulting from the placement of that knee onto his neck.

The Minnesota Vikings have issued a statement regarding the murder of George Floyd.

The Vikings as a business concern should stay out of this.

Of course they are ‘deeply saddened’ by what happened.
Who isn’t? Soon groups like BLMatters will say “If you are saddened, then prove it. Make a donation of X amount or more
so as to ‘prove’’ your sincerity. If you refuse, you’re just as big a racist as those cops who killed Floyd.”

Reparations are coming.

They will extort their pound of flesh from every white in this country. And it will never be enough.

Whites have to stop feeling guilty over actions of a few bad individuals, or we’ll be the perpetual pinata.

When have blacks ever felt communal guilt over all the white people that they slaughter every year?

The first step to preventing BLM and other race baiters from blackmailing is to make sure that cops who murder are brought to justice. No one should be above the law.

Scrawny-armed thug.
That’s the screen shot a jury will be viewing someday.
Totally malevolent.
This is the point where the victim has already lost control of his bodily functions. (Urine starts to flow across the street.)

Why does a sports team need to weigh in?
Has the local McD’s or hardware store weighed in?

See post #5. Also, whites need to regain their self-respect because that’s what puts whites in danger, as well as Western Civilization for that matter. If you don’t think you’re worth a damn then what do you think racists of other races will view you?

I do think we can all get along and quite well but I think whites need to change their attitude but also be fair. There is no fairness in this scenario in Minneapolis.

No reparations are not coming, the dems never ever fulfill a promise, because if they did, nobody would vote for them.

They have been promising minority communities everything under the sun and yet delivered ZILCH to them.

They promised to “clean up the inner city” the inner city is still a shiathole, 40 years later

They promised better schools, the schools are still failure factories 50 years later

All they do is promise and deliver exactly the opposite. They show up to these neighborhoods during election season, do their song and dance, list of promises, the same promises over the past 50 years, they vote, then forgotten until the next election cycle. Rinse repeat

Reparations are not coming, since when did ‘rats keep a promise?

I don’t know about you folks but for some weird reason that cop face look familiar to me, but not sure where I have seen him.

Now hear me out, wasn’t there a period like in the 90’s where police were hiring individuals with criminal background. I recall hiring standards were lowered. I think many were against it even here on FR saying this will lead to lawlessness. Liberals were pushing for this. I wonder if this cop has a criminal background.

I agree. The police should be fully tried through the law as needed, but meanwhile, corporations don’t need to get too wound up in sending the proper PC message.
Be careful giving into that way of thinking. Nothing will ever be enough.

I grew up in Detroit, and was around quite a number of race baiter personalities. I know it when I see or hear of it.
The Nation of Islam was very popular even back then in the 60’s to 80’s. Yes, they inspired blacks to study and open businesses, but for the wrong reasons.

Everything was ‘because of The White Man and because we are victims.
And seeing themselves as ‘victims’ many of my former neighbors felt no guilt in committing crimes to obtain material goods or showing envy at a friends good fortune.
Showing pride in acting socially crude or ignorant. I wasn’t brought up that way.

No matter how much the left wants today to be the 1960’s so they can live the race wars, this isn’t the 1960’s. Their is no race war, in fact most Americans get along with each regardless of race with zero incidences. Will something happen, sure, but just because a bad cop (who happens to be white) kills a person in custody (who happens to be black) doesn’t mean every white person is racist or every black person is a target. That is what the leftist media wants us all to believe. It isn’t. I never look at the race when reviewing the evidence of crime, police wrong doing, shooting, etc. I look at the facts, race only matters to the racists, and the left is full of them.

“The Vikings as a business concern should stay out of this.”

Why? Everyone should be condemning this including the local hardware store and the McDonalds. WTF is wrong with you?

4 armed cops with the full authority of the State of Minnesota behind them killed a man in broad daylight in front of witnesses and cameras without any conceivable legal justification for the use of that level of force.

And they didn’t give one single shit. One of them did it and the other three stood there watching. This in spite of the onlookers warning them they were killing a man.

This should horrify every American.

Every single one of us.

Watch the video, dingbat. This was murder one, straight up. The ex-policeman kneeled on the guys' neck (while he was handcuffed and lying in the street) for nine minutes; including about two and a half AFTER the victim's bowels had evacuated. Bystanders were shouting 'Stop you're killing him" or words similar; the ex-cop *put his hands in his pockets* -- which is not the sign of someone fearing imminent physical attack, now is it?

Paramedics were called to the scene for "a man with a mouth Injury" but found a man unresponsive and without a pulse (their words).

The oriental cop facing the camera, had a prior record of excessive force ($25k payment) for kicking a handcuffed guy in the mouth, knocking teeth out.

If these were anyone but cops they'd be behind bars without bail, facing Murder One.

But all you can do is bleat.

Watch the f'ing video.

These cops, especially the one pictured need to be charged and arrested, and it sound be done within the next 48 hours.

3 of them where holding him down...after he was handcuffed and begging to be able to breathe. “I can’t breathe...Officer...ahg”
The one officer keeping bystanders off the street. Saying he is still talking... In the middle of the video with the idiot still on his neck one of the police officers starts yelling at him to get in the police car! WHAT! George says “I can’t” DUH!
When a bystander begging for mercy gets too close the kneeling officer pulls out his mace...defending his right to kill George!

SO VERY SAD.

Why is that officer not under arrest awaiting charges.

>> without any conceivable legal justification for the use of that level of force.

These horrific events will continue for as long as politicians determine the effective enforcement policies derived from the quid pro quo related to votes, pensions, and public unions.

Let’s start with outlawing public unions.

The public outcry inevitably solves nothing but to temporarily skirt due process.

I’m sorry Lurker. I respect your view, but strongly disagree.
Commerce is business. Business is to make money and employ people. Commerce is not a religion or a philosophy or a Social Cause where all concerned must sing from the same hymnal on the same pitch of intensity. NO.
Some companies do function that way, because they pay well and can get away with it. (Facebook, Google, Twitter, Amazon) But it’s wrong.

Chic Fil-A learned that bitter lesson. They are still popular, but from the moment their CEO made a statement considered controversial, they’ve been in a battle to remain lucrative. It may have been something to do with gay marriage.
