Roger Stone will be interviewed by Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Friday night after a 16-month gag order on the longtime Republican operative was lifted this week, Stone announced in an Instagram post.
The appearance on Carlson's prime-time program comes after a federal judge rejected Stone's motion for a new trial on Thursday. Stone, 67, had been sentenced to more than three years in prison in February for lying to Congress and witness tampering.
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who was appointed by then-President Obama, ruled against the argument by Stone's legal team that one juror was biased against their client and therefore had tainted the verdict.
"The assumption underlying the motion – that one can infer from the juror’s opinions about the President that she could not fairly consider the evidence against the defendant – is not supported by any facts or data and it is contrary to controlling legal precedent," Jackson wrote in an 81-page opinion. "The motion is a tower of indignation, but at the end of the day, there is little of substance holding it up."

Ummm...you may not care for Stone but he has literally been put through hell. Malicious prosecution, bias, not to mention the initial arrest at 3AM with jack booted thugs all conveniently caught on video by CNN. It’s extremely disturbing what has happened here and why it happened.
You got it all wrong. He should have given stone 15 minutes. The rest of the show was useless. Stone has been through hell beginning with arresting him at his home amd the horrible judge.
Meanwhile Cohen, Avenatti, mob guys are being let out of prison. Its a death sentence for Stone.
