The husband of Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey allegedly pointed a gun at Black Lives Matter protesters who knocked on the man’s front door during a protest outside of his home.
Melina Abdullah, a professor of Pan-African studies at California State University, Los Angeles, told NBC News she was attending a protest Monday morning outside of the man’s home, and rang the doorbell to invite the district attorney to talk to other BLM activists gathered outside.
After Abdullah rang the doorbell, an elderly African American man opened the front door and pointed a gun at her chest and at the protest organizer, who was also on the porch, reports the news agency. . . . .
Lacey has maintained the DA’s office was unable to prosecute Buck because the evidence in the case was improperly acquired.

When the KKK shows up at your door at five in the morning, demanding your wife step outside, this is a perfectly appropriate response.
If a regular citizen who was not connected to government did this, they’d have dozens of cops and swat teams storming their home, evacuating the neighborhood and bringing the occupants out at gun point, face down in the street etc...
What an ugly double standard this justice system has become.
If I had a bunch of “protesters” trespassing on my property and some of them were banging on my door, I’d answer the door (if I answered it at all) with a firearm in hand too. That way the violence if any wouldn’t be one sided.

he did need a lesson in gun ettiquette though... he was using the firearm as an extension of his finger, which was on the trigger the whole time... not good.

You bet...Your house would be crawling with cops...You’d be treated like foreign terrorists for something like this. At gun point, laid out in the street face down.

What is the problem here?
A threatening mob shows up under cover of politics, and gets inside the property line, right onto the porch. How can you tell this from a riot about to get out of hand, a Molotov cocktail about to be thrown, or a beating/near lynching? Because they’re Democrats, and of course they’re all friends?
Such a gathering is bound to contain a few hotheads.
Why wouldn’t the occupant feel threatened enough to brandish, and use if need be?
This is why concealed carry is so important. If you pull it, shoot the sob. Otherwise tell them to leave and piss off. Before ever responding call LEO. IMO.
In some states, that would be considered aggravated assault.
