A good start to reducing federal government’s dictating to us would be to prosecute and convict the coup leaders. It is not enough to fire them; they’ll just get hired by CNN, MSNBC, CBS and continue the coup..

Anyone who believes, at this juncture, that we are a nation of laws is in denial.

Barr talks a mighty good game.

But until he addresses the elephant in the room nothing else he does will matter in the long run.

Nothing.

Barr could literally grab the first person who walks past his desk at the DOJ and indict him/her for some kind of criminal activity, yet the LUMP chooses to blow his bagpipes rather than act. I would say he’s useless, but that would ignore the danger that he has placed America in.

Before 1870 the U.S. Department of Justice didn’t even exist. The Attorney General and the U.S. Attorneys who worked for him reported to the Treasury Department, and they were involved primarily in civil proceedings. There were hardly any Federal criminal cases outside of treason and tax evasion.

The founders of this country would have found it repulsive for the Federal government to be prosecuting people for — get this — lying on their college applications.

2). 4 to 6 weeks.
3). Four to Six Months
4) Never.

“...Leviathan will never be dismantled, at least not all at once..”

Not with people like Sessions, Barr, Wray etc at the helm.

The first thing all decent Americans should do is treat any employee of the U.S. Department of Justice as if he or she is an ebola patient carrying the SARS, MERS, and coronavirus pathogens simultaneously. That’s a small start, but a necessary one.

I am voting for Bernie on Super Tuesday in Virginia. I want to make sure the contest is Bernie vs. Donald. I want this fight.

I am going to have to read de Toqueville again.

Barr makes a very good case for his audience.

Action is needed.

“...Barr Says It Shouldn’t Have To Be This Way...”

But it is “that way”. And we have to deal with it. HE was put in place by Trump TO deal with it.

“...But until he addresses the elephant in the room nothing else he does will matter in the long run....”

Spot-on.

We have an ongoing coup attempt, a criminal conspiracy to take out a duly elected President. The perps ARE known, and they are laughing in our faces.

Barr is the top cop.

He should DO HIS DAMN JOB, or step aside so we can put someone in there who WILL do it, and do it ruthlessly.

Before it goes to open warfare.

Patience is not a virtue when people want you, your society, your culture and your way of life erased.

“A good start to reducing federal government’s dictating to us would be to prosecute and convict the coup leaders.”

That is what Barr should be talking about. How criminals in the federal government will be prosceuted in order to save our institutions and restore the public faith in the rule of law.
