NATIONAL HARBOR, MD — Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke to the attendees of CPAC Friday afternoon. He reported that he had just come from the Oval Office with President Trump.
“Can anyone in this room remember a better time to be an American conservative?” he asked the crowd. “We’re safer than ever, our economy is more prosperous than ever, and President Trump will not stop winning.”
In talking about his job, Pompeo expressed how he really enjoys the work that makes an impact, and not the perks of the job. “I’m not in it for the fancy dinners [in Europe],” he said, before noting, “one of my predecessors went 62 times,” in a not-so-subtle dig at John Kerry.
Then he criticized some of the big mistakes of the previous administration, including the Iran nuclear deal and the Paris climate accords. The point is about “changing behavior, not signing documents,” he said. “If there’s no compliance, if the agreements are flawed, you gotta get out of them.”

Indeed. I read earlier today that in a dem hearing he told the dems that, “this hearing is a joke”. Apparently, this sent the dems into an apoplectic fit.
What really must have bothered them is that since he had been a Congressman he could call it BS with authority!

I found it interesting that Teresa had to change her name from Teresa Heinz,to Teresa Heinz Kerry, when John Kerry was running for president. After his failed run, she changed her name back to Teresa Heinz.
Also, Teresa went to college in South Africa, during apartheid. That was so down played. Can you imagine the press if John Kerry was a republican.

SECSTATE Pompeo graduated first in his class at West Point.
He was Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from January 2017 until April 2018.

I’ve been very impressed by him too. He’s gotten a lot done and he’s not afraid to call it as he sees it.
That was Lee Zelden. The hearing was a joke. The demons badgered Pompeo, wouldn’t let him answer, answered for him, and defended Iranian terrorism. I’ve seen some disgusting displays from this congress, but this one takes the cake.

He’s a straight shooter like Trump. And, like Trump, he knows when to use diplomacy and when to call them out. In other words, he’s a real man, a rarity in our political leaders these days.
I keep a plastic portrait of Hanoi jane in my man cave urinal at all times just so I never forget her.
The difference between Pompeo and Kerry is Pompeo doesn’t view a room full of heiresses as a target rich environment.
