I ordered a plant based burger without realizing that was what it was. It didn’t smell right. It tasted, not bad, exactly, just not good. I ate it and swore I would never get another and then, my worker guys pointed out it wasn’t meat. Oh. That explains it.

Vegans are convinced nobody will be eating meat in 12 months. They’re convincing retailers to jump on board the fantasy express. Now the retailers are finding out, it’s not such a hot idea after all.
There are a few exceptions.
I’m so sick of hearing the word Vegan.
I was raised to think highly of being a vegetarian. I’ve gone through spells of a year or so not eating meat. I was never raised to shun milk, cheese, cottage cheese, butter,... and then talk about it as if it was the most interesting topic EVA!!!
Eat what you want, and keep your mouth full of whatever it is, if you get the urge to tell us what it is. When you think everyone will be interested in hearing your life choice again for the 73rd time, take another bite quickly.

The promotional basis is all false. Somehow eating meet is bad for environment because of animal CO2. So instead of eating animals they want us to eat plants which take CO2 out of environment and produce O which is is good. Did I miss something?
I’ve never tasted it, but in terms of bioengineered food, its right up there. For example, the creators of this product had to bioengineer yeast to produce a hemoglobin that mimicked animal blood. Just look at the ingredient list.
I wonder if the eco-leftist vegan crowd grasps this?

Asumptions:
a) veggies cost less than meat so, am I paying the same price?
b) do I still need to eat some meat today?
c) there exists this latent army of vegans out there dying for a flame-broiled burger.
Hope this was a gimmick and that he's not that stupid - people's jobs depend on him.

I think I know where this idea was concocted as I have been inside the corporate hq in downtown Toronto. It’s a weird open concept office with lots of Tim Hortons food products and lounge areas that seem to be thing for the youngsters in offices these days. I think its supposed to stimulate creativity and team work or something. Perfect breeding ground for woke thinking.
