There is nothing in the article about lower the cost or paying for the medicines which may help and which the government does not pay for - these medicines cost $140 or twice the average daily wage.

I'm sure they're more than aware of what's happening at the state department and 'all required steps will be taken' - you know, getting people to promise not to go to Disneyland as soon as they reach the US, things like that. Diplomats and connected people will of course follow completely all these requirements to protect the United States...
But honestly, there are hundreds of already exposed people in the United States. The risk to the general population by this plane load in totality is likely less than say a single college student returning from visiting family.
