There’s a nearby country road called seven mile hill rd. On that road there’s an area we call the cold corner. Truck thermometer showed 19.
Personally, I like the cold.

Right now it is 46 in the Panhandle. Not that cold but the wind is really blowing right out of the North. Unpleasant to be outdoors without a heavy jacket.
It is predicted to be 27 tonight. Probably not necessary but I will leave a faucet dripping.

It managed to reach 29 today here at 2100’ elevation in western NC.

Nice. I get a kick out of the early morning bass fishers coming up river at 60 mph in their $65,000 rigs.
I am home office based, and look out at the lake from my desk.

Gee, this seems to happen in Florida every year at about this time.
You think that by now they'd do something about it...

We have property down near FishHawk mountain in Macon County.

Back towards Asheville.
There was a nasty landslide on Fish Hawk mountain 10 or so years back.

We did, too, in Tennessee. It’s a balmy 24 now.

Most of it. It was a partly cloudy day. There is a full launch tomorrow I hope to catch also.

I remember visiting my cousins in Florida as a kid and they told us they had never seen snow.

You forget that H2O freezes at 42 degrees in FL. ❄⛄
