Employers who don’t comply with the law may be fined up to $100 per day

It's such a joy to be an employer in California.

It looks like they can put in a foosball table, and made some MAME arcade machines, too.

That was what women’s restrooms were for before they allowed transgenders in. These brainless CA demonrats don’t know they’re insane.

The article seems to describe giant office buildings where outside of the plumbing, cobbling a room would not be a huge deal. But what about the fast food establishments which by design don’t have a lot of extra room for such amenities? Will the local Sonic have to build an add-on? Heck, my nearby Arby’s doesn’t even have indoor accessible bathrooms, its like an old rural gas station where you need a key to got to an outside entrance.

Can’t read the article due to the paywall. Is it ALL employers, or is there a employee number threshold?

When I worked in local government in SoCal, we set up a room for that in around 2005. Nobody ever used it, but it was quite the PC thing at that time. I think it was the “lactation room” or similar. Oy!

I worked for a corporation that had a room labeled lactation room more than 20 years ago. This was in Georgia.

Working mothers must prove to themselves that they are indeed great mothers by pumping milk instead of holding and feeding their babies in person.

Ok I know this will get me flamed, I am saying it anyway.

No flames from me. I think one of the major contributors to the degradation of society is so many mothers leaving their children in daycare. You can’t have it all, something’s gotta give and it’s usually the children’s well-being.
