Impeachment witness Tim Morrison, who happens to be the boss of Lt. Col. Vindman (see below), just destroyed the credibility of Vindman in under two minutes.

In testimony earlier today, Rep. Jim Jordan read out complaints against Vindman. Morrison later spoke to the concerns from his bosses about Vindman:

List of concerns: -Judgment -Potential leaker -Did not keep his bosses in the loop on what he was doing -Went around his bosses’ backs -Was mad he was cut out of working on Ukraine

He was out of commish for about two hours. They called it a Kerry wound.

So it had to be a little worse than a grain of rice in the keister then. Poor guy.

How the heck pudgy soldier Vindman get through boot camp?

Commissioned officers don't go through bootcamp/basic training like enlisted do.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/ukraine-pol-i-was-joking-when-i-asked-vindman-to-be-our-defense-minister

Isn't it telling that we're supposed to believe that this Ukrainian politician is above reproach when he says he was just joking, but when Trump says he was just joking about asking Russia to find Hillary Clinton's emails, that was impeachable?

The whole DC beltway is filled with these lowlifes from other countries representing all agencies sending the U.S. down the crapper.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All too true, a large number of the conspirators against the President are foreign born.
The founders only required a natural born citizen for ONE office and we couldn’t even get ANYONE to uphold that.
The Constitution is an illusion.
Even here on the most conservative website I get people arguing that Anwar al -Awlaki’s kids, born in Yemen to one citizen parent, are natural born citizens eligible to be President.
If Ted is, they are.
The founders used the strictest standard of citizenship they could find, natural born citizen, born here of citizen parents, naturally a citizen because there could be no alternative.
Solely an American with ONE nationality, ONE allegiance, ONE loyalty.
Obama is not a natural born citizen.
His foreign father made him a British subject and Kenyan national at birth.
He may not be a citizen at all.
His mother renounced his US citizenship and made him an Indonesian citizen.
Pretty sure it was an Indonesian passport that he used to travel until he became a US Senator and got a US passport because of the office.
He never naturalized when he came back.
He used a fraudulent social security number for his whole life until the SSA gave him a new one when he was Usurper.
Citizens have their own and don’t need somebody else’s.
Really? If we went to the Academy, he went through basic. If he was commissioned through OCS from enlisted, then not. That's how I remember it working. I could be wrong or things have changed.
Bootcamp/basic training is a very specific term. Officers (except mustangs) do not go through this program. The various academies and ROTC programs most assuredly have their own training programs, but it is NOT the same as the enlisted bootcamp/basic training regimen. Unless things have changed.
I don't know about ROTC or Officer Candidate School, but I've seen documentaries on West Point and Annapolis. First year cadets go through the same vigorous harsh physical training as enlisted. They do the same type of marching, running, obstacle courses, and have to pass PT tests to remain.
Remember, Academy cadets are civilians and their individualism has to be broken down to turn them into team players. They may call it something else, but it sure looked like boot/basic to me. Maybe one of us should do some research...ha.
I attended the Naval Academy from 1972 to 1974 and then was medically discharged just before my 2nd Class year. One year later, in 1975, (which would have been three years from the time I entered during Plebe Summer), when I enlisted in the Army, I was sent directly to Fort Hood for AIT-OJT as an 11B. I didn't have to attend Boot Camp because they said that my Plebe Summer training was equivalent.
West Point calls it Cadet Basic Training. It is the same as enlisted, and possibly more. Annapolis calls it Plebe Summer Training. Since many of the plebes at Annapolis go Marine, their physical training is even more extensive. All plebes are taught in hand-to-hand Marine combat techniques, which enlisted Navy are not.
Look around at some of the videos. Looks like boot camp to me.
Makes since after watching documentaries and just now some videos. Sheesh, Plebe Summer looks even more intense than Army Cadet Basic Training. Guess that's because all plebes need the same training whether Sailor or Marine service. When do plebes or mid-shipmen decide which branch?
Forgot to mention, too bad about your medical discharge. How did you get accepted to Annapolis? That’s a huge accomplishment in itself.
When do plebes or midshipmen decide which branch?
Selection takes place in the last Fall semester of 1st Class (Senior) Year. From what we were told, class rating determined the order in which the selections were made: the middie at the top of his class got to make his selection first, and so on down the line until the lowest rated midshipmen made the final selection. Depending on the openings in various branches (surface warfare, submarine, Navy Air, Marine Air, Marines, etc), it was possible (and even probable for those most-desired branches) that, by the time a lower-rated middie's turn came up, he wouldn't be able to get the branch selection that he was wanted and would have to settle for something else.
