House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Donald Trump can make his case directly to the Intelligence Committee, but she vowed to protect the whistle-blower whose complaint triggered the impeachment inquiry of the president’s actions with Ukraine.

“The president could come right before the committee and talk, speak all the truth that he wants if he wants — if he wants to take the oath of office or he could do it in writing,” Pelosi said in a interview with CBS’s “Face the Nation” broadcast on Sunday. “He has every opportunity to present his case.”

The President can not have counsel, present witnesses, or evidence without committee approval, challenge any of the witnesses against him, who happen to answer to him since he is the President, but who cares anymore, and is to just sit there while Schiff lies to his face for a few hours while CNN and MSNBC gloat, but he can testify if he wants.

The Democrats tactic is they are trying to put PDJT in position at the bottom of the hill, and make him fight an uphill battle until he drops of exhaustion, or the people of the USA are so damned tired of it all they tell him to leave so they can be at peace. It’s an old trick mostly used in a much lesser scale than going after our President, but they are desperate.
