Department Of Justice Launches Criminal Investigation Into Russia Probe(W/Subpeona power)
One America News Network(OAN) ^ | October 24,2019 | OAN Staff

Posted on 10/24/2019 6:37:47 PM PDT by Jayster

The Department Justice is opening a criminal investigation into its own Russia probe. A new report from The New York Times said officials have shifted the Russia investigation overseen by Attorney General Barr from an “administrative review” into a criminal investigation.

The move gives U.S. attorney John Durham the power to subpoena for witness testimony and documents. DOJ rules state that a criminal inquiry can only be undertaken after finding a “reasonable indication” of wrongdoing. The intent of the investigation will be to uncover the origin of the Russia probe, but it is not clear what potential crime Durham is investigating or what prompted the inquiry.

This comes after Special Counsel Robert Mueller III closed the official investigation months ago.

This story is developing, please check back later for more details.

His admission that the FBI never examined the DNC server, for example -
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
That’s a fact that NOBODY brings up.
The FBI determined that the Russians hacked the server.
They didn’t have the server to examine.
They relied on what the dnc told them.
Re: 16
Yes, OANN is excellent. The only reasonable source for National and World televised news. Worth the $4.95/mo.
"Won’t this screw up Cankle’s presidential run?"
I don't think so. This is exactly why she may run. After all, you can investigate a democrat running for POTUS can you. This is a calculated move to protect Cankle.
You know this story has traction......CNN is reporting it as a straight news story, Cooper had a real stone face when talking about it.
The FBI determined that the Russians hacked the server. They didn’t have the server to examine. They relied on what the DNC told them.
Those three sentences alone would be bad enough.
What turned this from mere incompetence to potential criminality on the part of the Mueller team is that they used their legal power to prosecute people for this crime without examining what should have been the most obvious piece of necessary evidence.
Brennan and Clapper will be throwing their hats into the ring shortly.
even though his team had already filed criminal charges against a bunch of Russians for “hacking” into it -<<<
Neither Julian Assange nor Seth Rich could be reached for comment...
Think about that....
“She will announce shortly she is running. That is the best way she can claim she is a victim of Trump’s AG.”
************************************************************
Expect the Democrat field to get even more crowded now with others likely to enter, namely, Brennen, Clapper, Comey, just to name a few. Of course any legal action against them will be said to be Trump illegally targeting his ‘opposition”.
> “Running for president gives them immunity from prosecution?”
So they think.
And in the first months of this year, a certain tipster posted elsewhere there would be some bad actors running for President thinking it somehow protected them from prosecution.
This was all foretold.
On October 21 at 1:04:29 an article was posted on FR that linked to a Conservative Tree House. The CTH article pointed out that Durham was conducting a criminal investigation, and that was why there were FOUR articles in the ENEMEDIA on 10/21-22 which questioned the Durham—and Barr’s motives.
I actually wrote down some of the highlights from both articles, and I think a lot of the info CTH reported on will be coming out soon, and just in time for or Halloween, I think we will soon be seeing LOT DEMONRAT “skeletons in the closet”!
On a different note; I’ve read that Prof. Mifsud is missing. He may be on the run from the Clintons and their deep state thugs and who knows, they may have gotten to him already. Or he may already be in DOJ protective custody. I hope it’s the latter.
The sources for this story are not identified according to John Bachelor of WABC New York’s Radio Show.According to bachelor, The sources are likely anonymous attorneys who are representing the suspects , and who want to rally the leftist base to create public opposition. In short, they are desperate.
In an earlier post on this thread, I referenced a Conservative Tree House article linked to in an article posted here on October 21. The CTH article discusses the role the Senate Select Committe on Intelligence (SSCI) played both before the 2016 election and afterward. It pointed out that before the election, Mark Warner and Dianne Feinstein headed the SSCI, and Di Fi’s lead staffer was Daniel Jones—the guy who was the contact-point between the SSCI and FUSION GPS!!
After the election, Di Fi abdicated her vice-chair postition to Richard Burr, and Dan Jones left the Committee (quoting the CTH article): “to continue paying FUSION GPS (Glenn Simpson) for ongoing efforts toward the impeachment insurance policy angle.”
Good stuff!
I know Barr doesn’t always get a lot of love on these threads lately. But I’m inclined to keep my mind open about him.
This is an incredibly complex conspiracy we’re seeing uncovered bit by bit. Successfully prosecuting the traitors will be no straightforward task.
Also, it’s hard to fault the way Barr handled the end of the godawful Mueller investigation.
