McRaven has proven himself to be a disgrace to his uniform.

The line never seems to end.....

“Trump is right. This is truly a coup, nothing else.”

Yes. And as a result, Trump’s life is in danger. This conclusion is not based on any tin foil hat theory but actually some very famous historical precedent.

We don’t have any historical precedent in this country, but all you have to do is remember why Caesar crossed the Rubicon. Now, I’m not supporting or defending what Cesar did and I’m certainly not comparing the American coup plotters to Caesar (although they are probably watching old Holly wood films of Julius Caesar fantasizing about what they will say to the people after the coup).

After Caesar completed his term as Governor of Gaul, he had to give up his provincial governorship of Gaul and disband his armies according to Roman law. His enemies in the Senate along with Pompey had arranged to have Caesar brought on charges from his time as consul before his appointment to Gaul. Caesar of course knew that this would mean banishment at best or death. Therefore, he had not alternative to take his legions and cross the boundary between Cisalpine Gaul and Italy. He entered Rome and declared war on the Republic.

The new coup plotters no doubt have many contacts in the doj and know or at least have a good idea as to whether they will be charged or not. They also have sympathizers that are willing to take the chance and work with them (a Marc Anthony) because that would mean more power in the new government.

If you are facing life in prison or death and had the means to take your opponent down, doesn’t it seem likely that these people would try?

Trump is destroying the Republic?

Where was McRaven’s concern when Billy Clinton gave top secret ICBM guidance technology to the Red Chinese?

Where was McRavens’s concern when Hillary Clinton/Obama allowed the Russians to gain access to 20% of Americas uranium?

Where was McRaven’s concern when Obama gave the Iranians $1.5 billion in cash?

A thousand more examples like these could be cited that indeed would have warranted removal from office.

FU McRaven!

I heard him speak once and he is a pompous ass.

He wanted to spend a billion dollars to build an IronMan bulletproof suit.

He went to the University of Texas system as president and got fired 3 years later because he could not deal with the Texas legislature. They could not stand him. So, he is regarded as a failure in Texas.

My brother-in-law is a full bird colonel in the Air Force. He is a typical Trump hating California liberal. This served him well during the Obama years when they were purging up and coming officers who were conservatives. He would not give me his email address at that time, fearing that I would send him something that would make others think that he was a consrtvative.

McRaven “led” the Navy’s role in getting a crew to a location where they could carry out a plan based on YEARS of intelligence work that McRaven had nothing to do with. He did what he was told, and what he had to do was not difficult for him, nor did it take any heroism. The real heroes of the mission were the Navy Seals, not the admiral.

The article’s mission of mentioning his minor role in getting Bin Laden is to give him more credibility than he deserves.

His criticism goes beyond that voiced in a Washington Post op-ed last year, in which he merely promised “criticism” of the president in the wake of the removal of former CIA director John Brennan’s security clearance. The admiral is unwilling to wait for the 2020 presidential election to see a change of power. He declares (emphasis added): “[I]t is time for a new person in the Oval Office — Republican, Democrat or independent — the sooner, the better. The fate of our Republic depends upon it.”

Moreover, McRaven makes no reference to voting, or elections — or even impeachment.

Article 88 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice bars “contemptuous words against the President,” and applies to retired members of the armed forces entitled to pay.

In other words he supports perpetual wars and America acting as the world’s policeman.

No thanks. One big reason Trump was elected was his promise to end all of that.

I looked at his bio and wouldn’t doubt if the bastard had a big hand in the Bengazi cover up.

“one retired four-star general, grabbed my arm, shook me and shouted, ‘I don’t like the Democrats, but Trump is destroying the Republic!’”

I don’t believe this for an instant.

McRaven was vastly over-rated by the Democrat media and over-promoted by President Obama. He has been an indoctrinated liberal all his adult life, being marinated in that pernicious philosophy at the University of Texas in Austin, which specializes in Leftism. He was kicked off of Seal Team 6 in his younger days, but ended up being appointed by Leon Panetta to head the bin Laden capture because McRaven had long been involved in counter-terrorism operations.

One is suspicious of anyone who expressed his support for ex-CIA Director Brennan when Brennan’s security clearance was revoked by Pres. Trump in August, 2018. He wrote an open letter in the Washington Post entitled “Revoke my security clearance, too, Mr. President.”Mc Raven has been an enemy of our President from the beginning and is a long time denizen of the Deep State swamp that is dedicated to destroying him.

For those who don’t know, these high ranking military officers are VERY political and many were elevated to leadership positions for that very reason.

The notion that they are apolitical tactical or strategic geniuses is a myth.

This former enlisted Marine and retired AF line officer says: Eat s**t Admiral with absolutely no respect.

The mythology of the Kurds as our allies fighting our war is and always has been absurd.

The Kurds fall into various factions who took our aid in their battles with Turkey and other Kurdish factions who supported ISIS.

Admirals, like most other general officers are self-serving political climbers who give little credence to the oath that they take to among other things obey the orders of the CinC.

They are not not policy makers, they are advisers and implement policy on the orders of the CinC.
