For the past week The Drudge Report has posted screaming headlines pushing President Trump’s impeachment!
At the same time Drudge has ignored President Trump’s 50% Rasmussen approval rating — 5 points higher than Barack Obama at the same time in his presidency.
This downward spiral has been happening since 2017.
In May 2017 at his peak, the Drudge Report had over one billion views!
In July the Drudge Report dropped below 800,000,000 views.
That’s a drop of 200,000,000 million monthly readers!

The population of the US is <350,000,000 (at least per recent official figures). So, where did Drudge come up with 1 billion readers in the first place? Maybe that site is big internationally? It would have to be very big internationally though, to come up with those numbers.

I think he counts each hit to his page.if you don’t have JavaScript turned off, it refreshes every minute or so. So if you are on his page and it refreshes 3 times, it may count as 3 visits.
I think the Drudge site has new owners. I noticed the change some time ago. The site needs a new name.

That is EXACTLY right. Every time I go there, it refreshes about 3-4 times.
And I am getting kind of fed up as well.
