President Donald Trump confirmed Friday that he intends to send a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) stating that, until the full House votes to authorize the chamber's ongoing impeachment inquiry, the administration will not comply with subpoenas and other demands for witness testimony and documents.
Trump and Republicans—who've been daring Pelosi to vote on the matter—believe that such a move would put vulnerable swing state Democrats in a tough spot and force members to more officially go on the record, as all but a handful of House Democrats support an impeachment inquiry into Trump.
The White House has refused for months to cooperate with various congressional subpoenas for witness testimonies and documents, and its directed current and former officials to not comply. And the response to subpoenas and information requests under Democrats' impeachment inquiry in recent weeks has—thus far—been no different.

If Pelosi thought she had the votes, she would have impeached the President already. So... she either doesn’t have the votes OR she is protecting the Demo Reps from districts that Trump won BIG. This whole thing is a sham.

I doubt Biden wil be their candidate.... to much baggage. Hillary will come in riding her white broomstick to save the day. If the RATS think they can weaken Trump enough through impeachment, they will anoint Hillary and Warren will be her VP. Trump will beat them BADLY!
We have 3 co-equal branches of gov’t. The House has no superior right over the Executive. They have the Power of Impeachment but, that does not mean the Executive must roll over and bare their neck to the demands of the House.
With Impeachment there is precedent. President Trump is justified in demanding precedent be followed.
If the House wants impeachment let them stand up and be counted. And, let the chips then fall where they may.
I would suggest a lawsuit will occur and the Supreme Court will quickly get the matter. By the word ‘quickly’, I mean spring of 2020 at the earliest.
His sole argument supports Trump! "The House of Representatives" is not a single member. Even the selection of "their Speaker" is by a vote of the whole house, not a single representative, or even a single party. This is not ambiguous. All "House of Representative" decisions are by a majority or super majority of all members present.
