From 1967 to 1993, I lived in So Calif.

I knew a man who had escaped Hungary ahead of the Nazi’s with his mother. I never did know what other family he might have had that didn’t make it out of Hungary ahead of the Nazis invading & getting the registration lists of gun owners from the local police stations.

Whenever the topic came up,the change in his face & voice was palpable.
