I probably watched it and was so underwhelmed it didn’t stick with me.

Hard to believe it was 20 years ago.

That wasn’t my point. I stated a fact. You started arguing. I have no idea why you needed to do that in response to a fact statement.

They would need 67 total for removal. That would be 21 GOP flips.

then please welcome President Pelosi.

No, If that happened Pence would choose a new VP.

Sorry. Pence has been impeached and also removed, leaving Pres. Pelosi

You don’t understand how that works. Who would be the VP when the second impeachment started? You do know that a second removal trial does not start instantly?

I still disagree that it is a factual statement. I don't believe the Senate has the choice - I don't care what anyone says. I think the Constitution says otherwise. Is it a little murky? Sure. However, I do not believe the founding father had it in their intentions AT ALL that if the House passed articles of impeachment that the senate could just ignore them. I believe if we could go back in time and ask the framers of the constitution if that is what they meant - they would look at you like you were crazy - just like they would look at someone who uses the first amendment as an excuse to burn the flag or any other nonsense.

I believe they would most certainly say you are playing word games. So - in MY OPINION - you are stating OPINION -not fact....it is most certainly NOT fact - it is an OPINION.

So show me where the Constitution says it’s required. Where?

I can see that you just want to argue. I’ll let you argue with yourself. Buh bye.

This is a make believe scenario, not a factual idea. And stop imagining that the Democrats would follow the laws or the constitution to achieve total power.

None of your questions matter in that regard. The Democrats aim to take total power by whatever means necessary; only policy wonks would know the difference between what the law actually is and what the Dems and their Media say it is.
