CNN: Dem stronghold now supporting Trump...'Now, multiply this by millions in other blue states'

Minnesota long has been a Democratic stronghold in the Midwest.

It's the state of Walter Mondale, after all.

Among its representatives is the radical Muslim congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who was rebuked by her party's leaders for anti-Semitic remarks and described the 9/11 massacre by Muslim jihadists as "some people did something."

Now CNN has gone to the state's Iron Range, a traditional Democratic stronghold in the north where taconite is mined for the nation's steel industry.

It turns out that the Democrats there are happy with the president.

The Gateway Pundit noted CNN's Martin Savidge traveled to the Iron Range near Lake Superior and found that the miners and working families who typically vote Democrat are voting for Trump.

The report said: "Democrats put the miners out of work. Trump brought the jobs back."

On Twitter, Susan Critelli jumped into the conversation: "Imagine my shock. Now, multiply this by millions in other blue states."

I don’t trust liberals to do the right thing ........ ever. They’re impulsive and ignorant and I’ll believe it when I see it. Because I don’t trust them to do the right thing...... ever.

I have been to Duluth and those iron ranges. Good hard working people. Love the walleye pike.

Believe you me, the voter and election fraud committed by the Democrats this election cycle will be monumental. It's live or die for them. There have been no consequences for years. And the Dems are emboldened by the delusion that they are a on righteous crusade … because … Trump.

Don't think for a minute that the RNC will address this in any meaningful way. They never have and never will. Minnesota will certainly be knee deep in Democrat fraud.

What prompted CNN to go to this area in the first place? Are they conducting intel for the Democrats?

I don't buy the story that some CNN producer just up and told some underlings to visit this area.

And this is why the Dems want to impeach Trump SO badly, they know they have ZERO chance of beating him legit in 2020..the polls we see in the media are utter BS, the Dems know the REAL poll numbers that show Trump kicking ass in 2020

The Trump campaign has been very open they think they can flip MN, NM and NH...that’s why CNN was there....sniffing around to find out how true it is....and it is.

Reagan couldn’t win Minnesota.

You’re clueless.

Reagan was running against a former Minnesota senator. And he damn near won anyway.

Reagan only lost Minnesota - and that only because it was his rival’s home state.

Subtract the “home state advantage” Mondale had and which no current contender does, and there’s a decent chance Trump will get it.

This is great. House Dems in swing states want nothing to do with impeachment in an election year, but the crazies like Ilhan Omar are demanding it.

Invest in popcorn futures:)

The story is that a day or two before the election, the campaign managers wanted Reagan to go to Minnesota because they felt Reagan could have a 50-state win if he did so. Reagan refused to do this because he did not like the idea of Mondale losing his home state. Reagan told his staff he did not wish to humiliate Mondale.

Reagan couldn’t win Minnesota.

A couple of clues for you.

Reagan lost MN by 4K votes.

Trump lost MN by 1.5%.

Omar herself was never rebuked. The Rats did a general rebuke against racism but did not mention her name.

I grew up in Duluth. It’s been a liberal enclave for years, but things are changing from what I hear old friends and relatives who still live there are telling me.

They are a long way from being conservative, but they have been testing the waters and Trump looks real good to many in that area right now.
