Make the kids walk to school, and take away their electronic devices. We shall see how many are willing to go what it takes to “save” the planet.

The simple logic played out in any child’s mind about the world ending in 11 years: No reason to study, no reason to get a job, skill or trade, might as well just stay wasted 24/7/365.

When I was in high school, I walked a mile 4 times a day (I came home for lunch), and it was uphill both ways.

Most of what I just wrote is true.

My worthless school district would have never allowed any kind of skip.

Back then, say the Russian ICBMs were going to be guaranteed launched the next day. The administration would insist on maximum attendance.
