Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swede and face of the youth climate change movement, arrived in New York City on Wednesday after setting sail two weeks on a solar-powered racing yacht from England. A substantial crowd greeted her after she was escorted into New York harbor by 17 sailboats — one for each of the U.N.’s “sustainable development” goals.

I understand that the 'crew' that accompanied her voyage
are flying back to Europe ( using fossil fuels )!

I couldn’t care less about some Swedish teenager’s opinions.
Oh, and she’s a hypocrite. The 5 dudes who manned the boat that sailed her across the Atlantic will fly back to Europe as will she. Her dad will fly across the Atlantic to and back to be with her. The whole virtue signaling publicity stunt of sailing across the Atlantic will thus put way more carbon in the atmosphere than if she and her dad had simply flown to NY. And say, couldn’t she have just Skyped and kept even more carbon out of the atmosphere since she’s so concerned about it and all......
