“Fredo” is an aspersion to Italians? Not the way I ever heard it. It’s saying someone is the least capable, talented, and worthy of the brothers, or the group. Like hoe the Packers had an awesome player named Clay Matthews and the Eagles signed his brother Casey because “bloodlines” and he stunk on ice, many of us called him Fredo Matthews.
And yeah, Chris should be called Fredo wherever he goes.
The name Fredo is not an ethnic slur. It means the weakest runt of the family. And Cuomo knows that. He’s just too ashamed to admit it because he knows it’s true.
