Trump remains in office = recession averted.
Trump defeated = recession in full force.

Maher will be singing a different tune if the Trump economic boom is followed by a depression so bad that he is forced out of work.
When the economy is good, we can afford useless human beings who produce no product or service that we want. We can’t afford them so much when the economy is bad.
