You name a team what you name it because there is something about what you named it after that you admire and want to be and have for yourself, whether it’s Tigers or Eagles or Braves or whatever.
What does she have against the native Americans? The Comanche and Apache ruled the area of Austin and Round Rock for centuries. What a racist!

It’s also an interesting school name (”Double File Trail Elementary School”) in that it doesn’t honor a person or some local feature, but a trail wide enough for two people abreast. I suppose the “Double File” name also respects Indian trails from centuries ago, so if “Braves” has to go, then shouldn’t “Double File” have to go, too?
They could rename the place the “Bland Gray Generics.”
