There must have been a point in the Robert Mueller hearings when the big thinkers of CNN and MSNBC curled up on the floor in fetal positions and began breathing into brown paper bags, trying to remain calm.
Breathe. Collusion. Breathe. “Did not reach a determination as to whether the president committed a crime.” Breathe. Ted Lieu? Breathe.
Those paper bags popped in and out, out and in, when Democratic media wizard David Axelrod and Harvard Law’s Laurence Tribe pronounced the Mueller hearings an unmitigated disaster for their side. And Donald Trump puffed himself up to crow.
“The Democrats had nothing,” the president said after Mueller’s testimony. “And now they have less than nothing.”
He’s already elevated the hard left of the Democratic Party — the socialist “squad” or as I’d call them, The Gang of Four — as his true ideological opponents in 2020. And then Democrats said Mueller failed them.
“This is delicate to say, but Mueller, whom I deeply respect, has not publicly testified before Congress in at least six years,” Axelrod said on Twitter. “And he does not appear as sharp as he was then.”

Did you catch the Today Show? My best girl watches that every morning and that political hack Savannah Guthrie (married to a Dem party high ranking consultant) drives me nuts with lies/lies by omission.
This illustrates how close we came to becoming a progressive totalitarian police state. Totalitarians frame their political opponents and force them to prove their innocence. Progressives are no longer “just” political opponents but hostile adversaries seeking to dismantle the institutions of our Republic. The seek to enslave us “for our own good”...
The Democrats wanted everyone to read the Report.
They put together their Kangaroo Committee to implore the People to read the Report.
Apparently the only person who did not read the Report was Chauncey Mulehead.
My bad. Still surprised it was published in a liberal Chicago newspaper.
God willing someday soon a ‘never-Trumper’ will NOT be allowed in the Republican party... Mueller needs to join Bill Kristol’s party - all 67 members will welcome him..
I got home from work and turned on the TV, it was on the local CBS station from watching the AM news.
I saw the dem representative from Florida and got disgusted. She would ask a question, Mueller would ask for the reference in the report, and she would say it doesn’t matter and “let’s move on.” She did that for the entire time she was on.
What BS.
Blame him for willingly accepting that job!
John Kass is not a liberal. I don’t know how much he likes Trump but he is not a never Trumper like Joe Walsh over on WIND in Chicago. He sticks mostly to Chicago politics and has very little good to say about either the Republicans or the Dems. Which he puts together as “The Combine.”
