I think we are on the same track.
But for those US voters who chose not to have a ‘god’, our reasonings are foolish babbling.
A young lad; in whom the Political Correctness Police had not pounded the 'rules' yet.
For years I have prayed for PDJT, for his safety, for strength to combat the attacks, etc.
This week, we have added many prayers for the salvation of his most vocal and evil attackers. A revival within that crowd would be amazing — a miracle.
I like it. Bet Victor Davis Hanson would be surprised to see his words (somewhat) on a bumper sticker. Well, they should be!!
Well I suppose control and power are actually interchangeable in this context and the money tends to come as a result of either one.
The devil’s greatest trick, convincing people that he doesn’t exist!

It’s my opinion that pride is the chief cause of the decline in husbands and wives.
OK, you do the math. They always had health insurance. Before ObamaCare caused the monthly premiums to go WAY UP.
Our daughter’s husband made about 4K a month. They do not spend money elsewhere, not frivolously. She had health insurance for her entire childhood, through my husband’s employer. Chemical Engineer with Dow Chemical Corporation. Then she had healthcare through her employer, Intera in Austin Texas. Her degree from UT is HydroGeologist. Then she got Pregnant and had a baby. She still had health care. Then she quit her job to stay home and take care of her baby. Then her husband took another job making less money, and the new boss didn’t pay as much on healthcare monthly premiums. It was going to be $2K a month out of his 4K gross income. They also have to pay house payment (or rent), car payment, gas, utilities, food, diapers. He had hoped that his new job would include raises, bonuses, promotions, as he was PROMISED. It didn’t. So if you can tell us how she could pay $2K a month out of $4k a month, for health insurance, we will most certainly do it.
Our oldest son grosses $30K a year and has health insurance through his employer, Marsh. His insurance monthly premium is $1K a month. He has worked for Marsh for many years and the monthly health insurance premiums were MUCH lower and affordable before ObamaCare jacked up the monthly rates, the deductibles, and the co-pays. So he grosses $2500 a month, and his health insurance is $1K a MONTH. That leaves $1500 a month for taxes, mortgage payment, car payment,car insurance, home insurance, property taxes - super high in Austin, car gas, utilities, food, etc. They BARELY get by. Their health insurance was MUCH MUCH MUCH LOWER before ObamaCare. Like hundreds per month, not a thousand.
Our youngest son tried to get Obama subsidy for health insurance (his employer has fewer than 50 employees). We got him all signed up for California Medical. Under $100 a month. He NEVER gets sick, never goes to a doctor, but we still tried to get him Medical. We signed him up for a policy WITH subsidy and it was supposed to be under $100 a month. The bill came in at $244 a month. At the time he was just out of college, looking for a good job, delivering pizza. BUT WORKING! As a part time pizza delivery guy they didn’t pay for health insurance. He made about $10K a year. His rent (he rents a room) is over $500 a month, then there are utilities, car payment, gas, car insurance, food, etc. There was NOT $244 left to pay for health insurance.
None of our grown kids spends money on OTHER things. They have NO money for foolishness. They don’t smoke, drink, use drugs, eat out....
Their premiums are super high. ObamaCare was a windfall for health insurance companies. They can charge whatever they want to. All ObamaCare did was MANDATE that everyone buy health insurance. It didn’t set rates.
My daughter said “for the first time in my life I need health insurance, and I can’t afford it”
There are so many people I have met here in Austin area who are in the lower class, the working poor. They cannot afford health insurance, and their rent or mortgage. They don’t take welfare, food stamps, hand outs. They work hard and pay their own way. They are trying to get ahead.
But ObamaCare has caused so many people great financial hardship. I have met so many people out here in our neighborhood, who have 5 kids, etc. They cannot afford the high premiums for health insurance. I mean sheesh, $2K a month is worth FOUR CAR PAYMENTS. They drive OLD cars. Our son drives a 2005 Chevy Cobalt. He can’t afford repairs, because his health insurance monthly payments are $1K a month. There is not an extra penny for car repairs. His wife’s car is a 1994 Intregra. It sits in the garage, won’t start. He can’t afford new tires for his car.
ObamaCare crushed the lower middle class... the working poor, just as it was designed to do. They paid the annual penalty. Adding insult to injury, they couldn’t afford the insurance, so they were fined! They SHOULD have allowed them to put that FINE money into a medical saving account.
Yet all the illegals in California, which our kids are paying for through their taxes, will get FREE health insurance and FREE tuition.
They chose to spend their money for rent and food. NOT for fun stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Health insurance with huge monthly premiums, THOU$and$ a month. Plus Co-Pay. Plus annual $Thousand$ in deductions. Our son pays $1K a month for health insurance premiums but said “I can’t afford to actually USE it” He only makes $2500 a month. $1K a month just for monthly premiums. And he NEEDS a better car. But his 2005 chevy cobalt will have to do. He can’t afford a car payment. These kids are adults, frugal, and barely getting by. BEFORE ObamaCare they were doing just fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Health insurance wasn’t cheap but it was AFFORDABLE. Our youngest had health insurance through his college $1K a YEAR, not per month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I understand all the math, and am sorry that they do not make more money at what ever jobs they have.
I still maintain that choices HAVE to be made.
