On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” 2020 presidential candidate South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) criticized President Trump’s plans for July 4th celebrations by stating that the event the president has planned “makes America look smaller.”
Buttigieg said, “I think it makes America look smaller. One of the reasons I joined the military was that, in a small way, I wanted to be part of seeing to it that my country was not the kind of place where a leader feels the need to boost his own ego by rolling tanks down the streets of our capital. We’ve always been bigger than that. We’ve also been the kind of country that traditionally respects our military enough not to use them as props. … After all, the people who got our country started in the Revolution were skeptical of a presidency getting too much to look like a sort of imperial or royal office, and I’m afraid that’s the direction this president’s taking it in.”

Been watching video of the parade, about half way through, and cannot for the life of me figure out why anyone would have a problem with it. These progs act as if it was an ole Soviet Union parade featuring thousands of military and hundreds of vehicles. They are always out of touch with reality.
Here’s what makes America look smaller. A grown man Howdy Doody look-alike calling another man his “husband” and defying the will of the Almighty God who pronounced only two (2) genders. And only one of them can marry one of the opposite. A rude awakening awaits your kind unless you repent, straighten up and fly right.
I am sorry, but anyone who calls static displays featuring two tanks and two infantry-fighting vehicles as "tanks rolling through the streets" is either a world-class liar or a world-class fool.
The only people making this celebration about Mr. Trump are his critics. And they also can go to hell and screw themselves when they get there.

I saw all branches of the uniformed services of the United States and then a MILES long parade of various Americans. Cowboys, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Chinese, Falun Dafa, the Sikhs, various black organizations, the Freemasons all united in one cause.
The celebration of American independence and celebration of our nation.

In his very city jeeps, Humvees, and a military truck rolled right through a neighborhood where young children lined the street. It was a parade of symbols of the power of the United States Military (and to those of us who aren't typical liberals, an appropriate and by all appearances, fun event.)
Well, he did accomplish one thing .... he got feminine hygiene products mandated in men’s restrooms at the debate.
