On Thursday night Kamala Harris took on former Vice President Joe Biden on his past record on segregation.
Kamala lectured Joe on how she was in the second integrated class in Berkeley, California. She suggested that the local school district had failed, adding, “There are moments in history where states fail to preserve the civil rights of all people.”
The audience loved Kamala’s attack on Joe. And her campaign honored her planned attack by quickly posting a photo of Kamala as a child in pigtails.
But it was all a lie.
Harris said she was a student in only the second class to integrate at Berkeley public schools.
Not true.
Kamala’s parents were successful professionals. Kamala went to school in Berkeley for only 2 years. She then moved with her mother at age seven to Canada where she attended grade school and high school.

as far as we can tell, her entire campaign is a lie...it appears to be just a scam to raise contributions $$$$$$ since she’s quite apparently ineligible for the office to begin with

We know that busing for racial integration started in Berkeley in 1968. It's not hard to find articles about that online. But, heck, another myth is born and now it won't ever go away.
It’s disgusting that portraying yourself as a victim is more important and lucrative than actually accomplishing something.
I started graduate school at UC Berkeley in 1967.
My thesis advisor used to teach a class at the high school an “introduction to engineering”.
He had to stop after two years because the only students who took it were primarily asian with a few whites. The high school administrators were afraid that someone would look into his classroom and think that it was a segregated class.
This is an example of how far back integration and political correctness went at Berkeley.
I am not a fan of hers but my daughter was born in 1965 and I had moved to an apartment complex in 1972 and had a Black family living in the same building with a girl about my daughters age and one of the things HE was complaining about was his daughter - along with mine - was being bused to a school on the other side of town..
Of course, the school board didn’t figure HE was living in that part of town....
By the way, before they would let me move in they ‘made’ me meet his family to make sure I was ok with them.
Funny, he and his wife were college grads while I was working asphalt crews.
In front of apt management I asked if he was supposed to approve of me being there or I him?
Only he & I thought that was funny.

As much as I hate to admit it, Harris isn’t exactly lying if she’s talking about the elementary school level. As the only high school in the district, Berkeley High was integrated. But the elementary schools were neighborhood schools, and, as such, reflected the composition of the neighborhoods which apparently were fairly uniform in terms of racial composition. In 1968, Berkeley started mandatory busing to “integrate” the elementary schools. With Harris born in 1963, Berkeley’s forced busing/integration coincides with her claim of being the second “integrated” class.
It’s interesting that the New York Times in their article “6 Takeaways from Night 2 of the Democratic Debate didn’t mention anything about Kamala Harris claim of being in the 2nd integrated class at Berkeley. The Gateway pundit showed yearbook photos of earlier integrated classes at Berkeley.
It must be hard to think with Willie’s willie poking you in an orfice.
My older brother got bused to a majority black school and got beat up all the time. Fortunately for me my mother moved rather than subject her other sons to the same madness.
If she was born in 64 she would have started 1st grade in 1970.
So if busing was started in Berkeley in 68, then 69 , 70, #Karamela would have been the 3rd class to have been bussed.
I don’t buy it anyway she moved to Canada at 7 who knows if she even rode a bus in Berkeley ever...
All kids were bussed in Berkeley to balance out white/black ratios.
She would have lived in the non-black flatlands.
I’ve also read she moved to Canada in 76 which would make her 11/12.
Still, this entire bussing thing is orchestrated. They had that little girl graphic ready to go. No coincidence Biden’s statements of 50 years ago on bussing were dragged out prior to this.
They have all sorts of tricks up their sleeves. She is the Obama machine candidate.
