the government suppressed the book on the notion that
“to understand all is to forgive all.”
It was eventually published.

Did Hitler get medical examinations every year that were made public?
Probably not.
Speaking of information control, a few English bombers were sent over Germany dropping propaganda leaflets. Someone got their hands on some leaflets and brought them back to England.
The government made possession of the leaflets illegal on the grounds that the information in them might fall into enemy hands.
Projection much?

They can’t stand that he keeps running circles around them. If he’s crazy, what does that make them? Is there even a word to fully describe where they’re at?
It isn’t working with us or with rational non-partisan people. I think the target for this nonsense, though, is their own base. They know that Trump has been very persuasive and has convinced a lot of people all over the spectrum to consider his positions. I think this is part of their strategy to get their people to dismiss Trump’s arguments and successes out-of-hand without taking any of it seriously.
They can’t afford to allow any of their followers to consider Trump anything but a crazy clown, because when those people find out what he actually stands for and what he has actually accomplished, they are liable to change their views on him—and the left can’t have that.
