Gosnell’ and ‘Unplanned’ Have Changed The National Climate on Abortion…And The Media Is NOT Happy

The times, they are a changing.

Abortion in the United States had become a tiring topic of debate over the last few decades. The fact is, no matter much the pro-life side argued against pro-choice opposition, very little changed in terms of legislation, but that is rapidly changing as we speak. The reason for this change is that the conversation on the issue has shifted.

For years we debated on “a women’s right to choose” but we never went into detail about what that ‘choice’ was. We debate on a woman’s body but not the life inside of it. We have been told abortion is normal, but haven’t gone into detail about what that process is. When talking about ending a life, we are told that it isn’t a baby and we aren’t terminating anything but a clump of cells or an embryo. So why has this changed over the last couple of years? Because films such as Unplanned and Gosnell: America’s Biggest Serial Killer have exposed the ugly truths of the abortion industry that most people have been blind to for decades, and the media is NOT happy.

It is undeniable the effect that pro-life films are having on our nation’s discourse. Many people who considered themselves to be moderate on the issue are changing their tune because there is now information and science to suggest that abortion isn’t simply the harmless procedure we have been sold all these years. Meanwhile, members of the media who have long created the romanticized outlook of abortion are not too pleased that people are having their minds changed. Look no further than Jia Tolentino‘s New Yorker hit piece on Unplanned and Gosnell.

Both movies were a success considering they were basically blacklisted on the major news networks. Fox News did interview Dean Cain about “Gosnell” and interviewed Abby Johnson and the young lady who played her in “Unplanned.” All the interviews came on Fox and Friends so you had to be an early riser to see them. Absolute ZERO mention on the liberal networks. Maybe soon the American Holocaust called Roe v. Wade will be sent right back to back to the states, were it belongs.

Every action has an opposite and equal reaction.

Proggies understand this, not. I believe there are many reactions forming, around the globe.

I think the dear governor explaining how born babies can be snuffed out at the mother’s desire helped the cause as well.

Let’s take the ‘win’ and be happy with our pro-life progress.

Hey, pro-death side, take your loss and get used to it...there’s more coming, I believe

I think they’ll be promoting abortion tourism in a decade or two.

I wonder if we will look back on this time and equate it to another injustice in American history — slavery.

Slavery was justified because Africans were considered less than human. When someone is not an equal human, you can do some very bad things to them. The Nazis did the same thing with the Jews. The conscience of Americans and the clear mistreatment of slaves was the inducement for Civil War.

If our side controlled the national airwaves, abortion people would be fleeing for their lives.

I didn’t see Gosnell, but I did see Unplanned. Unplanned was well done, but it was extremely gentle with regard to reality. Reality is MUCH worse. All in all, they touched on the true issues. If you haven’t seen it, please do.

One thing the media and left wing demonrats fail to address is part of the engine that drives the prolife people. That engine? People who have had abortions, performed them, or assisted with them in addition to former clinic owners and employees.

Instead, they point to old white men legislators for accusations.

The prodeath camp can never again fool those who know the truth, nor can they kill the resolve of of them. Instead, they prey on innocent kids and teens, and those who feel so much guilt, they must remain in a state of denial frequently having multiple abortions.

These people are sick..spiritually sick, or even dead.

Pregnancy is gynocentric.

Childbirth is gynocenric.

Motherhood is gynocentric.

Neither the media nor the deceptively -labeled "feminist" moement are gynocentric... assuming the "gyno" means a woman.

The media sure as hell is gynocentric.

Most positions are held by libtard women.

Most if not all articles and mags are written to be absorbed in, and appeal to, women.

Buy a copy of Gosnell, if only to support the producers. It shows the ugly and seamy side of abortion. These people are plain demented

Libtard women are not gynocentric.

They think all of women's organs, intuitions and attributes, including our functioning sexual distinctives, right down to the genetic level --- --- in short, everything about womanity per se --- is a social handicap, a barrier to excellence and an engine of oppression.

Libtard women are gynophobic.

What "devout" Catholic can deny the simple logic of Mother Teresa, who, at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC on February 3, 1994, stated: And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?"

Mother Teresa's declaration may be the most powerful statement in 2016 from which to begin discussions of murder, ambushes, and terrorists among us.

In America, our constitutional protections rest on the Founders' premise that each and all individuals are "endowed by their Creator" with the unalienable right to both life and the liberty to enjoy it, or, in their words, "the pursuit of happiness."

The sole reason these rights were deemed unalienable is that both are derived from the Creator--not from the mother or father, and not from government or judicial decision. What is "granted" by human decision also can, by implication, be withheld.

"The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time: the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them (life and liberty)," said Thomas Jefferson.

"The world is different now. . . and yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forefathers fought are still at issue around the globe--the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God." - John F. Kennedy, Inaugural Address

That understanding underlies every other consideration embodied in our Declaration of Independence and every protection of our Constitution. It is the very basis of our rights to life and liberty, of laws to protect them, and it distinguishes ours from other forms of government.

When we fail to acknowledge that foundation of our liberty, then we risk liberty itself for future generations, for where does the right to choose who lives and who does not really end?

That is why the question is of vital importance in each election. Already, we have deprived millions of their Creator-endowed rights to life and liberty, and our nation must be weaker for their loss. We need leaders who understand the implications and potential consequences of departing from our founding principles.

In recent decades, technological advances have enabled us to observe the characteristics and actions of God's tiniest creations in the womb. Unlike previous generations who could not see, we have no excuse for imagining that these are mere blobs of tissue labeled "fetuses." In their early weeks, we now can see that they are living babies who will continue on to possess life and liberty if we do not "destroy" both. Indeed, they are simply smaller versions of ourselves.

Questions on the economy, taxes, threats from terrorists, health care--all are considerations at this election time. One, however, is basic to all others for me. Who will best protect the underlying premise of our Constitution--and the lives and liberties of millions yet unborn?

Promises are illusive and cheap. This voter will examine each candidate's previous voting record carefully on all issues, because past actions are the best predictors of future decisions.

The “media” is Comcast, Disney, and now ATT.

Yes, it matters. Be a responsible consumer.
