Rep. Ilhan Omar spoke to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey on the phone this week and demanded to know why the social media platform hadn’t deleted a tweet from President Trump that she said incited violence against her.
The Twitter boss called Omar on Tuesday to talk about the presidential tweet, which shared a provocative video inter-splicing the Minnesota Democrat’s comments about 9/11 with footage of the Twin Towers in flames, according to The Washington Post.
Omar, who said she experienced a surge in death threats in the days after the April 12 tweet, pressed Dorsey to explain why the company hadn’t deleted it, a source told the paper.
Dorsey said it was because the tweet didn’t violate Twitter rules. He also pointed out that the tweet and video had been viewed and shared beyond the site.

according to the daily mail, she didn’t just ‘press’ Dorsey for an explanation - she ‘demanded’ that he remove the tweet. Dorsey didn’t agree with her that Trump’s video had increased death threats to her. And he emphasized Twitter policy against ‘hate speech’ to her.
Also, according to the DM, she lied about civilians being killed in the land of Mog -

Rush mentioned yesterday that Twitter usage is actually a very small percentage of the population and is made up mostly of elitist leftists.
IE, we give Twitter way to much credence and power.
We should just not GAS about Twitter: Its meaningless and mindless. Phrases like “Twitter blew up...” should be met with “Yeah?
