Actually, if done correctly, Democrats would never win another national election. They are going on the premise that Hillary won the popular vote. She did, but she won the popular vote because one state (California) had her winning the popular vote by the margin that gave her the national popular vote. It’s the same premise that without the superdelegates, Hillary wouldn’t have hit the target number to get her over the top on the first ballot.
