The storms today haven’t been windy and wild ..... just a LOT of rain and a lot of lightning periodically. Been going on all day.
Definitely not fun to get out in. Had to run Shannon to the vet in this mess. Yuck
YUK that you had to get out in it. Hope Shannon will be ok. I suppose it was too nasty to go look at the lightning. Speaking of which....the moon is HUGE and gorgeous!
I hope she’ll be ok too. Third day throwing up so it was time to go. He kept her overnight to give her fluids and will check her kidneys while she’s there. I hope she doesn’t have kidney failure because dealing with one already is enough!
Yeah, I know we’re missing out on a beautiful full moon tonight, dagnabit! We could see it a little last night through high thin clouds and it was pretty enough then.
The cats know it’s full even without seeing it. LOL! They’ve been on a tear all day.

The backyard cats here seem to be a little more playful tonight, but maybe it’s because it’s not quite as cold and windy as it was last night. They ate much better too.
I think that all Canteeners are aware that Mrs. spel is a Ph. D. in languages. She is qualified to teach English, French and Spanish. As an aside, she also speaks Portuguese and Italian. I have watched her swap between all five languages as the situation called for a particular language!
Yesterday I was teasing her because she likes to watch “Wheel Of Fortune” and “Jeopardy.” ** snicker **
I, on the other hand, am an unrepentant channel surfer. Today I was surfing through the channels when she walked into the family room and said, “AHA! LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE WATCHING!” The channel happened to be on “The Jerry Springer show.” ROFL
Mrs. Boss is a rock star!
And you watch Jerry Springer. LOL!

We’ve had another tummy bug running through the ranks and I hope she just had trouble shaking it. Do NOT want it to be her kidneys making her sick.
I hate leaving her overnight. No one’s there so she’s alone and scared. :-(

Maybe she’s looking at it like a vacation in a nice hotel. Gets to have a spot all to herself for a change. :)
I can see it a bit on the JH cams but it’s a little cloudy there. And just not the same as walking out in the yard and looking up. *sigh*
H!!No, not at all. The look in her eyes said she thought it was anything BUT a nice vacation. Being stuck in a cage with all the ruckus from the storms tonight doesn’t help. She hates thunder.
