I suspect some in the House and Senate are afraid they are going to end up at the end of a rope. Ha! Isn't that what someone quoted hillary as saying?
Greatness in your day!

The only lynching Ive seen over the past 30 years has been high-tech lynchings of conservatives. Is there language in the bill to cover this?
... and a lot of them carried out under the auspices of our government.
Have a great freeper day!

OFFS! Srsly. They referenced clothesline juicy? Can these people be any more retarded? Because we all know making it a federal crime means a victim is more deader than if it wasn’t.

YEAH Congress. Your approval rating must be at least 9%. There used to be a time, at least I believed there was a time when they cared about their approval ratings or standing among their constituents. I don't think they even give a damn anymore - they know we've nowhere else to go ...
Cheers!

This is how the Senate is spending its time. Pathetically stupid. Given the people in Congress, (viz. max waters, pelosi, hank johnson, the mule faced woman cortez, et al) "stupid" is a step up.
I'm amazed they sober up long enough to consider such bills.

Not to mention those at the seditious doh-j that conspired to attempt a coup of a legally elected president. But, ‘D-lusional’ magic protecto rings.

Now just for the sake of argument...what if a posse of black dudes lynch a white dude and it is caught on security camera? What then? Arrest? Prosecution? I’m dubious.

What happens when the democrats take control and start lynching us deplorables. Will they not be breaking federal law? The dems are already in control and my feeling is they will opt for something a little less organic, like maybe a reinvigorated caste system ... where deplorables are the untouchables ...
Have an especially great day!

Their time would be better spent outlawing shark attacks. At least those happen.

Genuine hatred, Mr.Booker, or just perceived hatered of one political ideology and race toward the opposite political ideology?

So if Smollet is found to have perpetrated a hoax and lynched himself ... He'll be immediately canonized I guess. St. Jussie of the unhung or something a little more clever...

We should be alarmed at the language referenced and linked in the bill. These words are part of the bill though not visible until you check the link.
2) Offenses involving actual or perceived religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.
This is definitely not the original or common usage definition of Lynching. Will it make a protected class for gender identity which is not yet in the law? How about perceived? We are losing our freedom of speech more and more in the USA.
. Will Republicans in Congress bother to check the language actually linked in the bill?
