Well if things go as usual, the Rs will buy up tar and feathers, run the R out of town on a rail and make excuses for the Ds THEN say the Ds should do the ‘right thing’ etc.

The D’s will extend one half of the ‘peace sign’, the Rs will try and find some more Rs to scourge.

But this is why they win.

They have an endless number of operatives constantly scouring about, looking for the slightest piece of information that would allow them to cast aspersions on their political opponents to counter any scandals.

Now it's a "bi-partisan" issue that needs to be dealt with in a nuanced manner.

Contrast this to the Republicans, who almost always leave their politicians twisting in the wind.

My dad goes back to WW 2, Wop, Daggo, Spic where just some of the names applied to Italian’s. He was a Natural born US Citizen, his Legal Immigrant parents were Naturalized before he was born. He fought in WW 2 under Mac Arthur, didn’t speak a word of Italian. Perfect size for Airborne.
