Stunning: Ohr Testimony Reveals Top DOJ Officials Briefed About Steele Before FISA

Three top Senior Justice Department officials, two who are senior prosecutors on Robert Mueller’ Special Counsel, met with Bruce Ohr in the summer of 2016, well before the FBI sought a FISA warrant on a Trump campaign official. Ohr informed the trio of DOJ officials about his close contact with former British Spy Christopher Steele, whose dossier was used as the bulk of evidence to obtain the warrant to spy on Carter Page.

Ohr, who was then the Associate Deputy Attorney General, told members of Congress during his closed-door testimony in August 2018 that he had informed senior officials that he was delivering information he was gathering from Steele and Glenn Simpson, the founder of embattled research firm Fusion GPS.

Ohr’s testimony also had a stunning revelation that Andrew Weissmann, who was then head of the DOJ’s Criminal Fraud section and now Deputy Special Counsel for Robert Mueller, was also briefed by Ohr on his meetings with Steele during the summer of 2016, shortly after Ohr met with Steele. The testimony, which has not yet been made public, was authenticated by sources from congressional testimony to SaraACarter.com.

Under intense questioning from former North Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy, Ohr named the officials he informed about his contact with Steele.

“I spoke with some people in the Criminal Division, other career officials who dealt with some of these matters,” Ohr told Gowdy.

“Any names?” asked Gowdy.

“Get your yellow vests while they’re cheap.”

Ammunition is a better deal - and much more effective at solving “problems.”

None of this is a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention. The only thing different now, is its the "Republicans'" turn to pretend to be the minority party for 2 years as they all work on their own reelections.

Our soon to be new AG is best pals with Mueller... and will be confirmed with ease as a result of that. This does not bode well for this country at all.

The rosenweasel, commie, mueller team and all the key figures at FBI, DOJ knew they were submitting fake info to get a warrant against Trump et al.

Question for a knowledgeable Freeper lawyer.

1. The FISA warrants was obviously obtained fraudently and illegally.

2. Why have the FISA courts not come down like a ton of bricks one those that knowing submitted false information to them? Is the FISA court also corrupt? If such was done in my conservative Bell county in Texas, the judge would have your ass, your badge, and possible your freedom.

3. Is not all prosecutions obtained by these invalid and false warrants now the "fruit of the poisoned tree" and thus totally invalid.

If Ohr told the truth re what was reported in this article, then several things may have happened that are important.

1. He was not as venal re Trump as previously thought. (doubt it)
2. He’s afraid of going to jail or have his wife Nellie (Fusion GPS) go to jail. {He was made an offer he couldn’t refuse].
3. He’s cooperating with a new DOJ investigating team re the FISA warrant corruption.
4. He wants to keep his pension.
5. He wants to resign with some dignity, not be shown the door with his security clearance totally revoked publicly.
6. He’s had an epiphany about honesty. ????

Every car sold in the EU comes with a yellow vest for safety when changing a tire.

That’s why they are so common - everybody already has one.

“’One of them was Bruce Swartz, who is the counselor for International Affairs in the Criminal Division; a person who was working with him at the time, working on similar matters in the Criminal Division was Zainab Ahmad; and a third person who was working on some—some of these matters I believe was Andrew Weissmann.’ Like, Weissmann, Ahmad, a Pakistani American lawyer, also has a senior role as a prosecutor on Mueller’s team investigating the Trump campaign and the Russia.”
