The band The Killers has released a new politically charged song with a Spike Lee-directed music video to go along with it.
The song, Land of the Free, is a blatant critique of Trump's America, with lyrics hitting on topics of gun violence, racism, mass incarceration and Trump's proposed border wall.
The music video, directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker Spike Lee, shows footage of immigrant children and families at the US-Mexico border.
He said he first was inspired to write Land of the Free in 2012 in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting, which left 26 dead

This no good racist country has been terrible to Spike. Poor Baby.
This includes those who are unsafe living in gang infested neighborhoods on the South Side of Chicago and other such places. The Killers and Spike Lee should give free concerts in these types of gang-infested neighborhoods, give the proceeds to help make these neighborhoods safer, and to speak directly to those gang members in those neighborhoods who are making life miserable for everyone there - including themselves.
Spare us the preaching, when you have little on the line and aren't willing to look open-mindedly at what the problems are.

Spike spikes The Killer’s gun with a mediocre album that has people lining up at Spike’s house wanting their money back. What was heralded as a blow out massacre of Trump’s America ended up as The Killers with bullets shot through their feet. Spike said he did the right thing (which is to do whatever he wants) and The Killers said they wanted to be the next cash cow, the next Green Day, the next Johnny Dangerous... though they were not expecting bullet holes in the feet. But Spike reassured them that bullet holes in the feet were dangerous and that he did the right thing. Of course they had to listen to him because he is famous and important and knows what he is talking about. Lines continue to form demanding money back and Spike said he needed a break and plans to go to sunny Cuba.

One big wonders from about ten years ago. Had some song about a boyfriend who looked like a girlfriend or something. Ok song but I would not buy their album.
