Police: Person in custody after call about shotgun at Farmington Rd. home

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A person of interest is in police custody after Rochester Police were called about a reported firearm in a home Monday morning.
The initial call came in shortly before 7 a.m. about a neighbor who claimed to have seen a shotgun in a home on Farmington Road.

Any NY Freepers out this way? Story reads like someone just saw a shotgun at someone’s house and police responded with SWAT.
Journalists are so horrible these days, was hoping maybe some Freepers have some more detail, cause it is what it reads like, then CWII can’t be too far off.

Farmingtom is way out in the sticks.
I’d hazard a guess that just about everyone out that way owns a firearm.
Upstate NYers are better armed than a lot of snowflakes would be comfortable with. Our little community has more cows and guns than people.

I was sure the article was satire........ but it appears to be real.
The real news story is that the police actually responded to the call.
