Which is why it’s called the Uniparty.

George Washington was prescient.

Right now we have three branches of government: The judicial, the executive and the deep state.

They really are past their sell date.

Anyone who thinks the GOP will suddenly become a principled party that advances the conservative agenda is delusional. How many decades do they have to deceive us before we accept the reality that they are a defective product that needs to be pulled off the shelf and recalled?

The real problem from the article:

“What is happening is that these three entitlement programs — Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security — are going to basically crowd out the rest of the federal budget,” Ryan said.

And it didn’t help that the Federal Reserve had to pile on so much debt to keep Obama’s economy from collapsing.

Pretty much irrelevant who holds the house. Just look at the built-in rate of spending-—70% is not decided by Congress-—and of course it’s gonna go up.

Say the GOP Congress actually cut the budget (they didn’t, but say they did) by 10% of the 30% they control, that would reduce that part of spending by 3% while the rest of it was rising at the rate of inflation at least. So their actions are pretty much meaningless.

Right now we have three branches of government: The judicial, the executive and the deep state.

***************

We have three UNEQUAL branches. The Deep State is pervasive and persistent; it is therefore the most powerful branch. They acted to subvert a presidential election and then plotted to undermine the new president. And they got away with it. Now that’s real power.

And this is something a lot of people forget: Once trump leaves office, no matter who is our next president, the Deep State will almost certainly have absorbed into itself the executive branch again. It’s one reason I’m buying more ammo.

Our unfunded liabilities are presently $122 TRILLION. That is IN ADDITION TO our $22 TRILLION debt.

Simply unpayable. A crisis in the making if there ever was one.

The story of the century if not in the history of the USA being COMPLETELY ignored ( spiked ) by the MSM. It's a Pulitzer waiting to happen.

apparently, the Republicans don’t give a rat’s ass any more than the Dems do.

***************

The Republicans are just as corrupt as the Democrats.

The Republican Party is often referred to as the Stupid Party, but its the voters who are stupid and gullible. Election after election the Republicans backstab their voters yet they still vote for them. When will GOP voters vote on the basis of RESULTS instead of empty words? Probably never.

The Deep State is finding Trump to be temporarily problematic but they play the long game and will simply wait him out. And then they will be right back in business again running the show. It will have been but a mere interlude of inconvenience to the Deep State.

That said, it will be interesting to see how the DS deals with the balooning national debt and crushing unfundeded liabilities. The storm is coming.

I was hoping that the FISA docs would be declassified and that they would tell a story of intrigue and corruption that would awaken the American people. Those docs would have exposed a lot of the rot and the infestation for all to see. Why Trump withheld that vital information is simply beyond me. What could be more important to a country than seeing evidence of treason and the undermining of its elections?
